Paint It Pretty Polish Force Field

**press sample

Today is the release of the Paint It Pretty Polish magnetic collection!   I've shared two from the collection already; this is the final one I'll be sharing; Paint It Pretty Force Field!

This is two coats of Paint It Pretty Force Field that were applied and I then waited until they were dry to the touch.  Then applied one thin coat of it on top, then applied cat eye magnet.

There were no application or brush issues.  Paint It Pretty Force Field has an indigo blue magnetic shift in a darkened scattered holographic base.

I did nail art over it; this isn't the stamping that I wanted to do; I originally wanted to do an indigo blue stamp over this base for a tone on tone look.  But my test nail didn't turn out that well, so stamped using an image from Apipila p.19 using MdU 11, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Paint it Pretty Polish Magnetic Fields and five other magnetic polishes are releasing today; July 20, 2018 and are available here; they will retail for $11; the magnet is also available for $2.  The polishes are 5 Free, Vegan and Cruelty Free; handcrafted in Beamsville, Ontario!

**A huge thank you to Paint It Pretty Polish for giving me the opportunity to share the polishes that were provided as part of official press for Indie Expo Canada 2018!

Trick or Treat!

I'm getting ready for the kids who will be trick or treating later tonight; just heading out the door to buy candy (hope there's some left lol) and the hubs and DS2 are just starting to decorate the front of the house. Here's one of two Halloween mani's I have left to share!

Started with a base of one coat of CND Green Scene and two of SpaRitual Positive Vibe.

I had received the Pahlish  the day I did this mani and was anxious to use them; so did a sponged gradient using Pahlish Sour Caramel Apple and Pahlish Marshallow Pumpkin.

Added coat of Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC before stamping.

Stamped with assortment of plates; MoYou Festive Collection-16 (thumb and index), Messy Mansion MM22 (ring), Chez Halloween 001 (middle) and Apipila P.19 (pinky) using Funky Fingers Dark Knight.

Added a few bats to the thumb, index and middle using MoYou Festive Collection-16.  Tried to make scary eyes on thumb and index; not sure if I succeeded lol!

Top coated with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC to finish.

Ended up adding a coat of top coat instead.

I was really happy with Frankenstein here on my thumb; he's my favourite finger here.  I wanted to do whole mani using Frankenstein images; maybe sometime.

Fairies!

Adding the fairies to these nails was an afterthought one night just before I thought I was going to take off this mani.  But liked the look of it so much, wore them another day!  I had originally done the sponging with the single stamp but the following night as I was sitting down to take off the mani, I thought it might be a cool mani for some double stamping.  I added a few fairies; it's a little on the busy side but busy nails might be my middle name a lot of the time!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Nicole by OPI Bee In the Moment.  I was pleasantly surprised with this polish that I had picked up at Winners.  Yellows are notorious for being streaky (especailly the first coat); but this applied and level well.  In fact, I think it might be my new go to bright yellow polish - I even picked up a second bottle!  This has no top coat as I knew I'd be sponging.

Did a sponged gradient using Orly Truly Tangerine.

Stamped using FunkyFingers Dark Knight using an image from Apipila P19.

As I mentioned earlier, when I sat down to take off my mani, I got to looking at it and thought it would be an OK design to add some stamping.  Went with a few fairies from Marianne Nails n.11, n.58 and n.59.
