Super Bowl 2018!

It's game day and I got my game day nails on!  The chili is on simmer and we are counting down to the start of the game!  Who are you cheering for?  I'm not too much of a football fan to be honest but do like to see the commercials and the half time show!  Here's the nails I'm wearing for the game!

Started with a base of OPI Liquid Sand It's All San Andreas Fault and OPI My Boyfriend Scales walls on middle.  Index is a smooshy base of Color Club Take A Hike, MdU 42 and OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.  Ring is smooshy base of Misa Dirty, Sexy, Money and OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, then dry brushed on more Misa Dirty, Sexy, Money.  Did flocking powder on pinky.  I had taken a few pictures before applying the stamper decal but for some reason, they didn't save.  Applied stamper decals on ring and index using images from Pet'la LE NFL.  Stamper decal on index is Mdu 3, Mdu 9, MdU 1 and Painted Polish Stamped in Clay.  Stamper decal on ring is MdU 2, MdU 1 and Painted Polish Stamped in Clay.

Stamped thumb, middle and pinky using images from UberChic Sports Fan 01 using MdU 1 and 9.

Stamped footballs on middle using image from UberChic Sports Fan-01 using MdU 22.

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top on all fingers except thumb and pinky!

Super Bowl Nails!!

It's Super Bowl Sunday!  We've just started making chili for the game tonight; who else will be watching? These are the nails I'm wearing; I'm not cheering for any team as don't follow or watch enough footfall to really have a favourite so good luck to your team if they are playing tonight!

Started with a base of Sally Hansen Celeb City, Zoya Carey, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and CND Green Scene; all two coats.

 Put a coat of Essie Matte About You on thumb; top coated the rest with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

 I had made a couple stamper decals using the Pet'la LE NFL plate; applied them to the thumb and index.  Stamped middle finger and ring with BM-XL181 and pinky with UberChic UC Sports Fan-01.

Added a bunch of star bursts from BMXL-213 and placed them on thumb, ring and index.  Unfortunately, the words on the ring got stamped off so I had to restamp the words again and do a little touch up.  I've had this happen a couple times now; I guess I should top coat before adding the fillers.

Topped everything off with a final coat of KBShimmer to finish.

Enjoy the game......or the half time show....or the commercials....whatever makes you tune in hahaha!

Digit-al Dozen Does Childhood; Day 5

Here were are at Day 5 of Digit-al Dozen childhood week!    When I was thinking about all the things I did as a kid, one of the things I thought of were the times that my cousins would spent the weekend at my Grandpa and Grandma's house and we would sit around the kitchen table and visit.  Before too long, some type of game was started for all  to play; sometimes it was Romolli, other times it was Monopoly (which is what I planned on doing for Day 5 as there are some awesome Monopoly stamping images until I seen that Glowstars did a Monopoly mani here) sometimes spoons, so I thought what else did we all do....and it came to me....of course, the Ouiji Board!  Do you know how many nights my cousins and I summoned the spirits, then scared ourselves silly with the boards craziness so much that we couldn't go to sleep at night? Good memories lol! So today's mani is based on the Ouiji Board!



Started with a base of two coats of OPI My Vampire is Buff topped with one coat of Elevation Polish Aguja St. Exupery.



Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.



Stamped using assortment of images; fauxand A02 (moon and star on pinky; small stars on thumb),  Handy 18 (sun on index), MoYou Bridal Collection-01 (yes on index), Pet'la Football LE (numbers on middle and ring), Nailways Back to Basics ABC 123 (letters on middle, ring and thumb), MJ Wedding Day (yes on index), and random fauxnad plate bought from Walmart but no name (larger stars on thumb).  Used Funky Fingers Dark Night as stamping polish.



Unfortunately, I didn't do too great of a job lining up some of the letters but maybe someday, I'll get better lol!  Topped with KBShimmer.


I thought this would look best matte so added OPI matte and do like the vintage look of it better.  BIT it annoyed me that the 3 on the middle finger got pulled.  I didn't notice it until much later in the day when I was wearing it or could have corrected it at least for the pix; oh well.  But really like the matte look of Elevation
Aguja St. Exupery glitter peaking underneath; inspiration for another mani, I think!  I just realized typing this post that I forgot the heart image for the moving heart piece on the board...I had it out to do but forgot!





I did my other hand slightly different; used an image from MoYou Pro Collection-14 and topped with KBShimmer Clearly on top to finish.

Super Bowl Nails!

Here's my nails for the big game tonight!

Started with a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (white), Nubar Green Tea (green) and Fanny Z (no name or colour no. on my bottle).



Stamped using Pet'la LE NFL plate using black Konad special polish, Mundo de Unas (#3, 9 and 34 with a little white to lighten it up) and Funky Fingers Gesso (white).



Using Mundo de Unas 38, filled in eye on the Seahawk and added a few stars using it and Mundo de Unas #3, then added a few more stars from T37 using Mundo de Unas 3 and 9 on ring finger.



Top coated with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

I had set aside a few different plates to do my nails but couldn't use all the images; did this on my right hand! Same base and stamping polishes; plates used were Pet'la LE NFL plate (ring), MJ XVIII (ring and middle), MJ XXIV (pinky) and MoYou Tourist Collection 02 (thumb).
