Digit-al Dozen Does Brands; Day 3

Have you been enjoying Digit-al Dozen Brand week?  The ladies have done some awesome brand mani's so far!  This is actually one theme that I didn't have too much of a challenge as there are oh, so many stamping plates nowadays with logo's and images suitable for brands.  With that being said, it was almost like I was doing red and white themed mani's as this is my second red and white mani this week and there's one more still to come! If the Digit-al Dozen ever revisits brands, I'll have to try to make sure they aren't red and white. Anyway, here's Day 3's Brand mani.

Started with a base of two coats each of CND Oilslick (thumb), OPI Over & Over A-Gwen (index and ring) and OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (middle and pinky); topped with SV.

Stamped using red and white Konad special polishes using GA32 (index), MJ XIV (middle and pinky), MJ XXI (coke wording on ring finger) and MoYou Rebel Collection-03 (coke bottle on ring). The thumb is from GA9 double stamped with a franken polish I made from mixing Mundo de Unas #12 and #23 together on the image plate.

Do you get the thumb?  It's the coke fizz when you pour Coke into a glass!  I remember as a kid how much I like to slurp up the fizz before the coke settled!

GA32

GA9

MoYou Rebel Collection-03  Why Coke bottle image, do you not stamp better?  I used several different stampers and couldn't get a better image than the one I used for this mani.  Disappointing.

MJ XIV

There are certainly a lot of brands just on these plates, never mind others in my stash!

Added a few accent twinkles for filler using SdP 73 and a heart from FUN 12 on the pinky; topped with SV.

I don't actually drink that much pop; maybe half a dozen cans a year if that, but if I do reach for a soft drink, Coke is my pop of choice (unless I'm not feeling well, when I drink ginger ale).  Sorry to all you Pepsi fans!

Here's the other ladies Day 3 Brand mani's!

Digit-al Dozen Does Brands; Day 2

I somewhat feel like a traitor posting this; anyone who knows me well knows my loyalty to (and love of my triple triple) Tim Hortons, but unfortunately, there is no Tim Horton logo or stamping plates so (cringe) Starbucks will have to do.  I also thought this is probably the only time I'll ever use the Starbucks image so no better time than now for Day 2 for Digit-al Dozen Brand week.

(I had to resize the pix a little smaller as too much was cut off; however, please click to see larger pix if interested).

Started with a base of three coats Cirque French Roast (get it?) on thumb and pinky, two coats of Quo by Orly Nude on middle and index finger and two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on middle.  All have top coat except the Cirque.  I chose Quo by Orly Nude as an ode to how my morning coffee looks (Tim Horton large triple/triple - don't judge!). I really liked the sparkly look of Cirque French Roast; however, when I wear it next, I will wear dark brown undies with it.

Stamped using RuiZ07 using Mundo de Unas #7 (middle Starbucks image).

Also used MJ XXIII test (thumb), using white Konad special polish, CICI & SISI 10 using Mundo de Unas #7 and #22 (ring finger), Messy Mansion MM10 using Mundo de Unas #22 (index) and Messy Mansion MM10 (pinky) using white Konad special polish.

MJ XXIII test; the finalized MJ XXIII is slightly different, fyi.

Topped with SV to finish.

This didn't turn out too badly....considering it is Starbucks lol!  I really love the thumb image and was also impressed how well the Mundo de Unas #22 stamped as there aren't too many brown polishes that stamp well.

Here's the other ladies fantastic Day 2 Brand mani's!

Digit-al Dozen Does Brands; Day 1

It's back to Digit-al Dozen week and this month's theme is Brands.  Here's the first one for the week; can you guess the brand?

I'm sure if you are in US and Canada, this is easily recognizable as Target; I'm not sure if it's a brand that's more widespread than these countries, so sorry if you are in Europe for example and this chain isn't there! Now, I'm curious to know if it's more widespread so if you are in another country and recognize it, please let me know!

Started with a base of two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (no pix as have shown before). Isolated an image from Cheeky 48 for the logo and stamped using red Konad special polish.  It didn't stamp fully and I touched it up with a brush and polish (not in the pix below but the rest of them).

Added shopping cart from MJ XV, again using red Konad special polish. Anyone who has shopped at Target will know these red plastic carts lol!

I initially was going to add a bunch of products that can be bought at Target, but decided to use another image, from SdP D using red Konad special polish.

I touched up a couple of the thumb images a little over zealously and then tried to fix them; not perfect and I decided to leave them before I messed them up even more!

Orange and Purple for AiS Challenge

It was purple and orange for the Adventures in Stamping challenge yesterday. These two colours aren't a combination I would traditionally use (well, other than Halloween!) but I didn't mind how this turned out. Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of one coat of Zoya Pixie Dust Dhara, no top coat.

Sponged tips with Zoya Pixie Dust Carter, no top coat.

Stamped using Pueen 59 using white Konad special polish.

Added a dots to centre of the flowers using same base coat polishes.

Topped with SV to finish.

Different Dimensions Coral Rose

This is a quick mani I did a couple weeks ago....I tend to do full size image stamping when pressed for time but want a quick mani change and this is one I did quickly one night.

Started with two coats of Different Dimensions Coral Rose, no top coat.

Such a pretty colour; I can see wearing it often during the summer!

Stamped using JR-8 using FUN black stamping polish.
