Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Top o' the morning to ya!  It's St. Patrick's Day; this is the last of the St. Paddy's day mani's I have to share!

Started with a base of Quo by Orly Raging Vine (thumb, middle and pinky), Colors by llarowe Army of One (ring) and Liquid Sky Autumn Thyme (ring).  All two coats; the holo's have no topcoat, Raging Vine has SV.

Stamped using assortment of stamping plates and polishes; thumb is MoYou Princess Collection-14 stamped with Mundo de Unas 48, index finger is MM04 stamped with Mundo de Unas #7, middle is stamped with MJ XII stamped with Mundo de Unas #48, ring is MM04 stamped with Sally Hansen Jumpin' Jade and pinky is MM04 stamped with Mundo de Unas #48.

Added a few dots using same stamping and base polishes.

Topped with SV to finish.

Have a fantastic St. Patrick's Day!

Smitten Shamrock Shake

Happy St. Patrick's Day Eve!  Don't forget to leave milk and cookies out for the Leprechaun's tonight! Here's another St. Patrick's Day mani!

For the base, used two coats of Smitten Polish Shamrock Shake, no topcoat.

How gorgeous is this?

Stamped using XXL Big SdP 2 on index and ring fingers and MM04 on the rest using white Konad special polish.

I tried out a new squishy stamper and it didn't pick up the best so the stamping is all blotchy. I wanted to add  few dots as distraction against the stamping so added a few dots using OPI Love. Angel. Music. Baby and CND green.  I think in hindsight this was too much; I wish I had have left the index and ring finger dot free.

Topped with SV to finish.  I'm not sure if it noticeable in these pix, but the white stamping polish turned slightly green after top coated.

I was able to snag Smitten Shamrock Shake and Claddagh during the release a few weeks ago (and am still ticked at myself for missing Mintmallow which was an oops polish that was sold in limited quantities....if you have you it and find it's not for you, please contact me!); however, they will be restocked via her Big Cartel shop in the future. Noelie is also releasing a new spring collex soon too!

Green Holo Shamrock

I only did a few St. Patrick's Day mani's this year.  Here's one featuring a newly arrived polish, Darling Diva Landslide.

Started with a base of two coats of Darling Diva Landslide, no top coat. Such a beautiful green!

Stamped using HD-B using Mundo de Unas 37. In hindsight, I wish I had have chosen a slightly darker stamping polish so there would be more contrast between the greens...it was more obvious IRL.

There's some serious holo peeking through these shamrocks!

These pix, you can see the stamping a little better.

Topped with SV to finish.

Darling Diva Landslide is available via the Big Cartel shop.

Digit-al Dozen Does Brands; Day 5

As I mentioned in a post earlier this week, for some reason I did three red and white brand mani's; this is the last one.  I guess red and white is popular in advertising; or my eye gravitates towards those brand's logo's (which I guess means their advertising is working!) I also noticed that for the other four brand mani's, the middle finger was white in them; this wasn't intentional just how the colours ended up so today, I made sure to have a different colour other than white on the middle finger! Here's what I came up with for Day 5's mani!

Started with a base of two coats of Duri Taming of the Shrew (red) and OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (white).

Stamped using assortment of images; MoYou Rebel Collection-03 (indes and ring), Cheeky Jumbo 07 Home Sweet Home (pinky and thumb), CICI & SISI 06 (bowl on middle) and Cheeky CH42 (spoon on middle).  Stamping polishes used were black, red and white Konad and Mundo de Unas green (didn't jot down the number in notes but will update later).

The Campbell's soup can didn't stamp the best so I filled in a little with a brush and red Konad special polish. Also, the bowl was really a cup on the image plate so I tried to remove a little bit more of the handle so touched up there as well.

CICI & SISI 6

I didn't even notice until I was uploading these pix that this plate has a tomato on it too.  I may have used it instead!

Added a few random dots on index and ring finger as filler.  Also added Mmm using CH42 for small m's and unnoted plate for M; will have to update!  Topped those fingers with SV in this pix but left the red dots to dry a little longer.

Topped with SV to finish.

I'm actually more of a Campbell's Mushroom Soup lover myself (or my own homemade Cauliflower-Cheddar or Potato-Cheddar soup), but there is no stamping plate image of this so Tomato Soup will have to do.  Now if only there were grilled cheese and cracker stamps for next time lol!

Here's the other ladies Day 5 mani's...and that's a wrap til next month!

Have a great weekend...and thanks for looking!

Digit-al Dozen Does Brands; Day 4

Day 4 of Digit-al Dozen does Brands.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of CND Oilslick (thumb), OPI This Gown Needs a Crown (index and ring), OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (middle) and Sinful Colors Cool Gray (pinky).  Topped all but the silver with SV.  I must say this is the first time I wore OPI This Gown Needs a Crown and I love it!  Love the sparkle/matte look, easy clean up and it's not gritty at all.  New fave go to silver!

Added assortment of images from various plates; MJ XXIII test (middle), MJ XXV (computer on index), FUN 6 (ring), MJ XXI (thumb) and QA 18 (pinky and index apples).  Stamping polishes used were black Konad black special polish and CND silver chrome.

Decided to add a few random dots using same base polishes and black and white Konad, as well as added an additional apple on index finger.

Finished mani by topping all fingers with SV except index.  I wanted to see if there was an obvious difference by top coating OPI This Gown Needs a Crown or not for future mani reference!

I must say this is the great thing about doing the Digit-al Dozen challenges; I doubt there is any other reason why I would put Steve Jobs face on my nails...but on the other hand, I'm glad that these type of stamping images exist as they give us so many different mani options and variety.

Here's the other ladies Day 4 mani's!

Digit-al Dozen Does Brands; Day 3

Have you been enjoying Digit-al Dozen Brand week?  The ladies have done some awesome brand mani's so far!  This is actually one theme that I didn't have too much of a challenge as there are oh, so many stamping plates nowadays with logo's and images suitable for brands.  With that being said, it was almost like I was doing red and white themed mani's as this is my second red and white mani this week and there's one more still to come! If the Digit-al Dozen ever revisits brands, I'll have to try to make sure they aren't red and white. Anyway, here's Day 3's Brand mani.

Started with a base of two coats each of CND Oilslick (thumb), OPI Over & Over A-Gwen (index and ring) and OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (middle and pinky); topped with SV.

Stamped using red and white Konad special polishes using GA32 (index), MJ XIV (middle and pinky), MJ XXI (coke wording on ring finger) and MoYou Rebel Collection-03 (coke bottle on ring). The thumb is from GA9 double stamped with a franken polish I made from mixing Mundo de Unas #12 and #23 together on the image plate.

Do you get the thumb?  It's the coke fizz when you pour Coke into a glass!  I remember as a kid how much I like to slurp up the fizz before the coke settled!

GA32

GA9

MoYou Rebel Collection-03  Why Coke bottle image, do you not stamp better?  I used several different stampers and couldn't get a better image than the one I used for this mani.  Disappointing.

MJ XIV

There are certainly a lot of brands just on these plates, never mind others in my stash!

Added a few accent twinkles for filler using SdP 73 and a heart from FUN 12 on the pinky; topped with SV.

I don't actually drink that much pop; maybe half a dozen cans a year if that, but if I do reach for a soft drink, Coke is my pop of choice (unless I'm not feeling well, when I drink ginger ale).  Sorry to all you Pepsi fans!

Here's the other ladies Day 3 Brand mani's!
