40 Great Nail Art Ideas Does Kids TV

It's Friday Saturday and that means 40 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge!  This weeks theme is kids TV and I might have misinterpreted the theme; I thought anything kids might watch on tv, but wonder if perhaps the intention was tv shows/cartoons, versus a movie they might watch on their TV.  But right or wrong, misinterpreted or not, I only have these nails to share so they will have to do!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a gradient of Contrary Polish Fresh and Sprout.

Sponged on OPI The Man With The Golden Gun.

Topped with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC.

Used assortment of images; BFF 39 (middle and thumb), MJ LI (index and ring) and Stampholic 3 (pinky) using Funky Fingers Dark Knight.

Colors by Llarowe Sparkle Away Your Blues

I did this mani almost a year ago; I was surprised looking back at my notes to discover that it is Colors by Llarowe Sparkle Away Your Blues because I don't really remember any microglitter bomb polishes being released by cbl but it is!  I guess holo's always come to mind when I think of cbl's which is kinda silly because I know that Leah Ann makes a much wider variety of polishes than just holos!  I realized later that Cbl Sparkle Away Your Blues may not be that readily known as it was a UK group custom, which might also explain why I don't remember it being released!   Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of three coats of Colors by Llarowe Sparkle Away Your Blues with two coats of Quo by Orly Baby Blues to accent.  Even though the cbl was three coats, I had a few small bald spots here and there; not really noticeable IRL but you can see them in the pix.

Topped with QD TC to before stamping.

Stamped using St. Happy by Gogo Only on all fingers except accent which is St. Merry by Gogo Only. Used Funky Fingers Gesso.

Wintery Nails for Our Wintery Weather!

I did this mani in the middle of February but didn't share as we haven't had a whole lot of snow since then and it really didn't make sense to be posting a snowy mani when we were on the cusp of spring!  But that all changed overnight with the dumping of white stuff so no time like now to share it since we are back in shoveling mode and wearing our winter gear again!

Started with a base of Noodles Nail Polish Tinsel in a Tangle with accent of OPI This Gown Needs a Crown; all no top coat.  I can still see nail with two coats of Tinsel in a Tangle and probably could have done a third coat of the Noodles but knew I would be stamping and it would cover most of it so left it with the two.

Stamped using MoYou Blue Jay using image from Delaney Hiver A001.

Stamped accent using same plate and stamping polish.

Added a coat of Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC to finish.

I did my right hand slightly different and think I like the way it turned out slightly better!

Here's to hoping that this snowfall is the last we'll see but have a feeling it's not according to the weather forecast.  I sure hope the robins brought their snowshoes and winter coats with them!

Rescue Beauty Lounge Abi

This mani is way out of my comfort zone as far as mani colours go but interesting enough, it matches one of my favourite sweaters!

Started with a base of two coats of Rescue Beauty Lounge Abi.

Topped with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC before stamping.

Stamped with an image from HK-09 using MoYou Gold Expressionism.  This stamping polish doesn't look like much right now, but man, does it ever come alive with top coat!

HK-09

My plate arrived bent; I messaged the seller on AE about a replacement because it affects that top image but it hasn't arrived yet.

Topped with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC to finish.  Wowweeee!  Look at that sparkle in the stamping polish!  Love the extra umph in this stamping polish!

Hope you're having a fantastic weekend; thanks for looking!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas Does Violet

This weeks 40 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge was Violet; I had added prompt of pattern on pattern.  I've been late in getting these challenge posts up for the last few weeks and did these nails on Thursday with the hopes of posting on Friday. However, just didn't find the time to get the post done.  Maybe if I do next weeks challenge nails tonight, I might get the post done for Friday next week.  We'll see how it goes!

Started with two coats of Sally Hansen Velvet Texture in Velour shown with no top coat.  I actually googled violet to make sure I got the right shade or range; hopefully this is OK.

Added a coat of Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC before stamping.

My first pattern is stripes from HK-11; stamping polish is MdU 16.  Stamping the lines with a clear stamper sure does make placement better and the lines stamped pretty straight as the clear stamper I was using is a little firmer; not all distorted as can happen with a squishy stamper.

Added these cats which were from HK-11 too using Funky Fingers Dark Knight for the the second pattern using Creative Shop 14.

The next morning, I decided to add a coat of matte using Girly Bits Polish Matte'rs.

Here's the other ladies violet manis with their various added prompts!
