Stars!

I've had these pretty cool nails in archives for quite some time.  Usually if they haven't posted by now, I found some flaw with them, or had cooler nails to share than these.  Which I can't imagine because I think these are pretty cool, which makes me wonder, why didn't I share these sooner?  What other nails made the grade when these never?  I can't recall what happen four years ago, I just know these haven't been shared.  Until now.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with three coats of Bourjois Paris Bleu Fabuleux, no top coat.

Topped with Fun Lacquer Daydreamer (2015 Limited Edition).

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using images from UberChic UC 28-02 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.  I can't remember if there's a single star image on the plate or I isolated one of the images, but somehow, the single star was on the accent nail.

Topped with a coat of Girly Bits Glitter Glaze, when somewhat dry, topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Thanks for looking!

Halloween Bonus Nails

I call these Halloween bonus nails as I did these nails mid summer for a weekend Halloween event, but didn't have any Halloween stamping plates or (what I would use for) Halloween polishes.  But I tried to make it work with what I had on hand and thinkthey turned out pretty cool!  They were a lot brighter than they appear here; however, the lighting washed them out a bit but hopefully you still get the idea of them.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with typical Halloween colours (to me, anyway!)  Morgan Taylor Ugh, As If (thumb), Painted Polish Midnight Mischief (index and pinky), and OPI Silicon Valley Girl.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped lines using Lina Born to Sail 01 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, and shadow stamped stars from UberChic UC 28-02 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief and Blanc Slate.

Added a whole lot of dots for colour, interest and filler, using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief and Blanc Slate, MdU 11, 13 and 69.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

This is out of my wheelhouse but I liked how it turned out; I need to do nails like this more often!  It was a nice, bright mani during the summer and subed for Halloween nails too in a pinch!
