More Daisies!

Who else is trying to eek out as much summer as they can??  I'm already seeing leaves on the trees turn colour and I don't think fall will be too much longer!  It's too early for me to be wearing fall colours although I do have a few mani's sitting in archives so you might see some fall nails posted soon!  Especially if the weather continues to turn cold and we see leaves falling!  But no fall nails here today; here is a different spin on the daisy nails I've been sharing.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Different Dimension Big Bang with accent nails of Revlon Sassy; all two coats.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped on Revlon Sassy using image from Marianne Nails XXL 1 with Lina 4 Seasons-Spring 02 on the rest using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Used Revlon Sassy for the center of the daisies.

Topped using KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Squiggles!

I woke up with eye infection in both eyes this morning and while it might not be the best time to do a blog post, I have an hour or so to do a couple blog posts so please don't get too upset if these aren't the best pix shared as I'm not seeing too well out of my squinty eyes lol.  But I want to share what I came up with anyway!

Started with a base of two coats of Fancy Gloss Got Milk?, no top coat.

Added a coat of Darling Digits (??) Popped!, no top coat.

Added another coat of Fancy Gloss Got Milk? to make a glitter sandwich.  I don't think I've ever done a glitter sandwich before but I'm kinda digging it!

It didn't have the pop of colour I was looking for, maybe I applied the white jelly too heavily, but none the less, added a bit more Popped! on top.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Sugar Bubbles SB 040 using Painted Polish Deux 2.0, no top coat.  I picked this image so a lot of the base could be seen.

This is a bottle shot of the polish used; there is no name out in full I can't remember if it is Darling Digits or another company.  Anyone recognize the bottle and remember?

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Lazy Sunday

Good evening!  It's was a pretty lazy day in my part of Ontario today; rain, rain, thunder, then more rain has been happening for the last 12-15 or so hours.  I was up last night around 2 am when it started and even went outside for a bit to watch the lightning show.  Then went in when it seemed it stopped and then was awaken about 8 am or so again when the thunder and lightning started again.  It has also been raining off and on most of the day so that makes it for a lazy Sunday. We did have a bit of sun late in the afternoon so was able to get outside for a bit. Well, I wasn't too lazy all day as I did a couple hours of much needed housework but all in all, nothing too much productive.  It's a good day to do some blog posts as I'm too busy most days during the week so here is one I'm going to share now.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of three coats of Dance Legend Wow Prism Quiet Riot, no top coat.

Topped with a base of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from UberChic UC 25-03 using MdU 5 and 58.

Stamped the outline using same UC 25-03 plate using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Topped using KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Added dots uding MdU 106, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

If you know my style, you know I like my nails busy so added dots for colour and filler using same MdU polishes.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

I hope you're having a fantasic Sunday; whether it's a lazy Sunday like me or more productive!

Stamped Purple Smooshy Base Nails

Stamper smooshy nails are one of the easiest 'art' bases to do; the worst part of doing them is the clean up!  Lately, I've been using Cuticula Nail Tape.  It's so easy to apply, take off, dries quickly therefore not much down time in the middle of doing my nails and doesn't seem to dry out in the bottle as much as some others I've used in the past, I find I don't mind doing messier type of manis.  Note, this is not a gifted or sponsored ad.....I just like the product!  Here's what I came up with!

Did a stamper smooshy base using Color Club Holy Chic!, Island Vibes, Pucci-licious and Painted Polish Blanc Slate.  Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from St. Happy by Gogo Only using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Hope you're having a great week and thanks for looking!

Northern Lights!

I did these nails originally for Digit-al Dozen challenge for the space challenge.  Unfortunately, I didn't get my posts posted in time to participate but have had them sitting in draft for a while now so thought I should get to sharing them!  They don't really look that much like space nails anyway, but are some cool Northern Lights nails anyway!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Sally Hansen CSM Greyfetti, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Did a sponged gradient using Sally Hansen Greyfitti, CND Vinylux Asphalt and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Sponged on Color Club Teal for Two and Island near the cuticle.  Then stamped using MdU 39, 80 and 101 using images from Maniology M001.  For some reason, I didn't make note of the image on the thumb.  Edit:  The thumb image is Creative Shop 154.)

Maniology M001

Shadow stamped mountain range using same plate of Maniology m001 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and Midnight Mischief.

Maniology X Nailstamping Sisterhood M004.

Added a few more stars for interest; stamped moon from Maniology M001 using MdU 11.

Topped using KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.
