It’s Frickin Cold!

We had a few warm (for winter) days after our big snowfall and it was good because so much of the snow was able to melt.  The snow banks were soo high and there wasn't a lot of places to put it so the melt really will help if we some accumulation.  But we are in another deep freeze; it's suppose to be -17C tonight which is chillyyy!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Pahlish Olaf (Black Friday 2024) on thumb, three coats of Moon Shine Mani Peace and Love on the Planet Earth on the index and pinky and Morgan Taylor Powers of Persuasion on the rest.  I first put a coat of Polished for Days Lilac Soft Focus on all nails the the Morgan Taylor.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Did shadow stamping on nails using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, MdU 111 and Painted Polish Stamped in Periwinkle with images from Kads Christmas 040 (thumb and middle), Kads Christmas 026 (pinky and indiex) and Marianne Nails Professional n31 (ring). 

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Fall Foxy

I went for a drive yesterday and it was so fun to see all the leaves dancing in the wind!  I think it's going to be a while before all the leaves are off the trees with it being so mild here lately but it was a nice treat to see the dancing leaves of those that had already fallen!  One of the magics of fall!

Started with a base of two coats of Essie Force of Nature, no top coat.

Topped accent nails with Moon Shine Mani Pyramid of the Moon (Feb 21 PPU).

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped plaid using Creative Shop Basic 132 using MdU 65.    Stamped middle image using CjS 135 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and MdU 113. Ring is UberChic mini: Hello Fall & Pumpkin Spice using MdU 114.

Added pumpkins from MoYou London Fall in Love Collection-09 using MdU 122, 13 and 107 with Painted Polish Midnight Mischief as the outline.  The leaves are MdU 48.

This is how I wore the other hand; in fact, I wore this plaid image on my nails a whole bunch of times when I didn't have a lot of time to do my nails (which is mainly picking out base polish and images which can take so long!)

Another Daisy Mani!

Purple Swirls

This was one of those mani's that I didn't have planned out when I sat down to do them.  I added a bit of this, a bit of that and layered until it was a look that I was happy with.  Then stamped it with a nice image that you can still see lots of the base through.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of OPI Oh, You Sing, Dance, Act and Produce? No topcoat.

Topped with a coat Moonshine Mani Blueberry Thrill, no top coat.

Topped with a coat of Nine Zero Flakie All The Things Silver, no top coat.

Snowflakes...Again

This was one of my favourite snowflake mani's that I did this year.  Sometimes the best mani's are the simpliest!  Here's what I came up with!

Fall!

This fall mani has a lot going on which is pretty typical of the nails I do!  I love it though!  The weather has taken a little bit of a dip lately and which means some of the leaves that are still on the trees...and there are a lot in some areas; maples have barely started to turn in my area...will probably start to fall!  Soon we will transition into the next season with that white stuff!

Started with a base of Moon Shine Mani Work Your Magic Buddy and Yum As You Are.  I actually have the inspiration polish but was afraid of using it up so bought this 'Project Dupe' polish and am glad that it is in my collection as really loving it for a fall shade.

I didn't mind the mani but decided it needed a little bit more so added leaves using MoYou Fall in Love 09, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Snow!

Sorry for the absence.  Again.  Life just gets busy and while I'm still doing my nails, I just don't get to posting.

We had quite a bit of snow on Sunday and despite the warm temperatures, it's still hanging around.  So thought I'd share these simple snow nails.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Moonshine Mani Joy's Rock Candy, no top coat.  Other than PPU, I haven't really been buying many polishes lately but decided to place an order from Moonshine Mani after seeing a fall-ish polish in stock that I wanted.  I seen this was coming out of the vault as I think it was described in a few days so held off on placing my order until I could include it.  When my ordered arrived in early November, this was the one I wanted to wear immediately and it went on my nails that night!   As gorgeous as it shows in these pix, it is even better IRL.
