Sweater Nails!

As we are in the midst of a deep freeze as mentioned in my last post, I thought it only appropriate to share some sweater nails to warm things up a bit!

Started with a base of two coats of Zombie Claw Polish Hot for Professor Erik (HCC Oct 2021), no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Lesly Winter Mood 4 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, no top coat.

Disregard the hangnails but this is Ms. Cindy; only sharing as I managed to stamp better with my left hand; happens more often then you'd think!

Thanks for looking and stay warm!

Blue Shells

We are starting to have some really cool temperatures for the next four days, particularly the evening hours that are expected to dip to -21 C/-6 F.  It might not be the coolest temperatures on earth, but cold, especially for our area, none the less.  So there's no better time to share these nails that would be reminiscent of warmer days; or nails that could be worn to a nice Caribbean vacation, if one was travelling during these times.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a coat of Essie I'm Addicted, then topped with Polished for Days Catch Ya Later, Dudes, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using FUN 25 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Not an overly complicated or difficult mani to do, but sometimes the best mani's are the simple ones!
Thanks for looking and stay warm out there!

PS I forgot that I also added a matte topcoat to the nails too!  Although the flakies came to life without the matte top coat anyway!!

Simple Lines

This is my attempt to not wear blue nails!  I seem to wear them so often and have to catch myself sometimes from not wearing day after day after day of blue nails.  Not that wearing blue is a bad thing; just I do have so many other polishes, they all deserve a wear occasionally!  This is what I reached for instead of blue not too long ago!

Started with a base of three coats of Morgan Taylor Sweet Escape, no topcoat.

Topped with KBShimmer Are You Kitten Me?

Creative Shop 187

Stamped using an image from CreativeShop 187 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief; left the accent nails for an accent stud.  This isn't my typical style but I really liked this image!  A great way to see the beauty of the base shine through (which is also why I left the accent nail or a stud, too).

Added the accent stud, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I thought this would look great with a matte topcoat, so added a coat of Essie matte.

Thanks for looking!

Not A Snowflake Mani

I'm going through my draft posts looking for a mani that isn't blue or a snowflake mani to try to switch up my feed a bit but I'm having a hard time to find something!  I came across this mani; unfortunately, it is blue but it seems to be my most popular shade for nails so it will have to do.

Started with a base of two coats of Enchanted Polish Water for Unicorns, no top coat.  Also added a bit more at the tips.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Lina Dress Your Nails 01 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Pooh!

I think it's only fitting that wearing a polish named Pooh should have the Winnie the Pooh on them too!!

Started with a base of three coats of Picture Polish Pooh, with accent nail of Revlon Marigold Maven, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using SF Winnie the Pooh using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Snowflakes!!

Back to the white stuff on my nails.  We had snow earlier a few days ago so it got me wanting to share my snowflake nails again!

Started with a base of two coats of Cadillacquer Leilani and Trolljegeren (October, 2021 Polish Pickup), which was three coats.  Leilani (dark blue polish) is a thermal; however, my cold hands and short nails really only seen any thermal activity when I was in the shower or if I put warm water on them.  I didn't mind; I like the darker blue colour.  I go into buying a thermal always with the thought that I must like the cold colour versus the warm, as that is probably the colour that I'll see the most!  This combination was meant to be worn together, I think!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Lina 4 Seasons-Winter 02 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.
