Why, oh Why!

Why, oh, why, do I not wear teal more often?  I wear blue so often, I forget about it's cousin but teal should get more loving, I think.  I know.  Probably because teal can be a stainer and no one likes stained nails.  I did these a while ago and can't remember if they stained; I hope not, as I need to wear it again soon!

Started with a base of Colors by llarowe The Deep End (holo version), no top coat.  Sigh.  It is too bad that Colors by llarowe aren't in business now as they certainly had a lot of great polishes, with a good formula and I have a lot of brands I wouldn't have otherwise been able to get because of their store.

Swirls!

Dance Legend has some great polishes, which makes me wonder why I don't wear them more often.  Come to think of it, I know why.  Too many polishes!  I'm glad I was able to wear this one at least!  I wonder if they are still in business.  Does anyone know?  I don't see many posts about them now as I did years ago, probably because there are now so many polish options with the indie polish explosion.  

Started with a base of two coats of Dance Legend Wow Prism Night Ranger, with a little extra at the tips.

Time Flies

Oh my, time flies.  I have commented many times before that I have loads of draft nails as I do my nails way more often than I post.  So I'm trying to post some of the archived nails while I have been on a mani hiatus while my one nail grows out and came across this mani.  From five years ago to the day.  Five!  Where does the time go?  Time certainly doesn't stand still.  

Started with a base of Sinful Colors Blue La La, two coats, no top coat.

Topped with Seche Diamond Dust, no top coat.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Daisies!

Not the blue daisies I usually wear but I did these as I still wanted summer nails and to change up the colours a bit.  Here's what I came up with! 

Started with a base of Cirque El Capitan and Cirque Hustle, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Lina 4 Seasons-Spring 02 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Used same base polishes and added floral center dots on the opposite colour.

Finished with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Invisible

Just like the song Invisible by Alison Moyet, the stamping on these nails are (almost) invisible!  I think I took the tone on tone stamping a little too literal!  

Started with a base of two coats of Black Dahlia Lacquer The Fool Who Ripped His Pants (PPU February 2022), no top coat.

I Love When A Mani Comes Together!

I love when a mani comes together!  This is a perfect mani to me.  Even though the polish application may not be the best, the clean up may not be the best, the stamping could be better, etc., but it just is perfect to me.  Everything I love about doing my nails is in this manicure.  A great base, with some layering for added interest, and then topped with a stamped design that has lots of interest, yet shows the beauty of the base to shine through.  I know that I have used this image so many times, but I can't help myself.  

Started with a base of three coats of China Glaze I Got A Blue Attitude, no top coat.

Topped with Rogue Lacquer It Just Makes Me Happy (PPU December 2023), no top coat.

After applying KBShimmer Clearly on Top, stamped using image from Moyra 52 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

After applying Apipila no smear top coat, topped with a coat of Girly Bits Glitter Glaze, then topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Brights!

Some days, I feel like wearing neon on my nails and not too long ago, I decided to go with these neon nails!  I love wearing brights during the summer and we are finally having some summer weather!

Started with a base of Pahlish Meringue Clouds Mystery Batch, two coats, no top coat.

Topped with Vanessa Molina Limoncello Martini, no top coat.  This is what I'm talking about!
