Happy Birthday!!!

Today, my baby boy turns 23! These are the nails I did for his birthday last year but didn't get around to sharing!

MoYou London Festive 69.

Started with a base of two coats of Painted Polish Fingertip Fandom on a white blur base, no top coat.  With all these colours, it's like a party on your nails, which is just the look I was wanting!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Nailways Spring Time - Birthday Cake

I made a whole bunch of stamper decals; on the middle and ring, used MoYou London Festive 02, and on the pinky and index used MoYou London Festive 9.  The thumb is Nailways Spring Time-Birthday Cake shadow stamped.  Used MdU 80, 83, 91, Painted polish Midnight Mischief and Clear Jelly Stamper Relay Red as stamping polishes.

Added flames, which was first stamped with MdU 83, then shadow stamped a mixture of MdU 107 and MdU 9.

I added yellow dots to the stars on the middle finger and some colourful sprinkles to the cupcake on the ring for some added colour and interest, as well as accented the flames on thee candles just a bit more to look a little bit more interesting.

Added a few party streamers from the Nailways plate on the ring finger.

Topped with a base of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Obsessed!

I'm kinda obsessed with the speckled polishes and even though I have quite a few of them, I was looking through my camera roll and I don't actually post them that often.  So I thought I had better post one now; here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of China Glaze Under the Boardwalk; this is three coats, no top coat on a base of white blur base to help the pink pop!

Added a coat of Rogue Lacquer Batsy.

Topped with a base of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Apipila Super Placa J using MdU 93.  Such a great image to show off the base below, yet gives lots of interest in the nail design.

Blue Smooshy Base!

Smooshy stamper bases are one of the most effective bases as they pack a punch without much effort, other than a little bit a clean up.  Or sometimes, a lot of clean up!  Thankfully latex barrier has made clean up a lot easier than before it was around.  This was the last smooshy stamper mani that I did back in May 2022.

Used this assortment of polishes to create my stamper smoohy base.....

.....and this is how it turned out on my nails.

Stamped using image from Beauty Big Bang XL-031 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Flakies !!

Here I'm layering with flakies again and I think they turned out pretty cool!  I layered over both dark and light polishes and they both look pretty cool!

Started with a base of two coats each of Essie Waterfall in Love (darker colour) with accent nails of Essie Ripple Effect (lighter colour) no top coat.

Topped the darker Essie with Polished for Days Esperance, and the lighter Essie with Fancy Gloss Let's Be Friends (PPU April 2021).

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Infinity Nails 44 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Finished with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Waves!

As usual, I'm a little late to these trendy nails that have been shares for a while now.  But I do really like them and have done a few mani's now with this look but I think this was the first one; here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of KBShimmer Jewels of the Trade, no top coat.

Nicole Diary 267

Nicole Diary 205

Added waves from Nicole Diary 27 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Then added palm leaves using same Nicole Diary 27 plate using MdU 91.  Added dots using Nicole Diary 205 and 206 using MdU 91.  I'm not sure why I stamped them and didn't use a dotting tool, but I did.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.
