A Sterotypical Valentine’s

My husband and I didn't do anything special for Valentine's Day this year; we haven't for a few years now, but back when we were dating and before we had kids, it was always a night out for us to one of our favourite restaurants for dinner, and there was always flowers  card  to round out the night.  So when I seen these various images, I thought they would be a  nice reminder to days gone by.  And maybe this is how you spent your Valentine's, who know, although I have no idea how the night is spent now, although I suspect out for dinner is common.  I remember after we had been married a few years and when our kids were little, we used to go to dinner the weekend before, or a couple nights before as Valentine's was always so busy lol.  Anyway, here's what I came up with.

Started with a base of neutrals; starting at thumb and going clockwise:  OPI A Great Opera-tunity, Essie Gel Couture Tassle Free, Orly Light Tan, Essie Spin The Bottle and OPI Somewhere Over the Rainbow Mountains; no top coat.

Stamped thumb using image from Shop Ants XL-019, middle and index were stamped using Uprettego JR-368, hearts on the pinky were stamped with BeautyBigBang Valentine's Day-XL-001 and ring is BeautyBigBang Valentine's Day-XL-010, as well as the words on the pinky, all using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Added heart on middle finger using image from BeautyBigBang Valentine's Day-XL-010, balloon on middle finger using BeautyBigBang Valentine's Day XL-010 and heart on index using MdU Mod. 537.

Abstract Fall Leaves

There's still lots of fall leaves out and about; however, with the rain and heavy winds that we had this weekend, I think they won't be around too much longer.  I wanted to do something a little different than the traditional fall nails that I usually post so did these abstract fall nails; here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Sally Hansen Colour Therapy Chai for Life, no top coat.
