Fall Vibe Nails

Hmmm.  For some reason, I thought I had posted  this already.  I think it was because I did other nails with a similar design.  Maybe.  Anyway, it's giving me fall fibes so I am sharing now!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of OPI My Vampire Is Buff, then topped with Anchor & Heart Pale Man (Sept 2018 PPU), no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  Different lighting.  Makes it look so different.

Stamped using image from Decor Unas DU 14 using Painted Polish Stamped in Sweet Potato.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Who'se Ready for Winter?

Enchanted Winter, that is!  I thought I'd take a break from all the recent yellow/orange hued manis to post something that didn't look like fall nails for a change of pace and came across from this mani.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Enchanted Winter, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Painted Polish Stamped in Scales, Stamped in Saltwater and Stamped in Cinderelly.  Unfortunately, I didn't mark down the plate so will have to update it once I come across it.  Sorry!  I actually think this is a pretty cool image and was hoping to use it soon so I hope I can locate it soon!

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Another Fall Mani

I *think* this was the very last fall mani I did last fall.  The base is similar to others I did, but I couldn't help it; I just love the look of the rustic looking flakies over a creme polish!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Essie Fall for NYC.

Topped with Fancy Gloss Magma.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Lina 4 Seasons-Autumn 3 using MdU 9, 59, 66 and 106.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

More Fall Nails!

This was one of my favourite fall nails that I did last year, just had done too many mani's to share!  So I'm glad that I get to share it this year and plan on creating something similar to it so don't be surprised if you see something like it soon!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Color Club Se Ne Sais Qui, no top coat.

Topped with Rogue Lacquer Arizona.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using images from Lantern & Wren Finally Fall, Lina 4 Seasons-Autumn 3 and What's Up Nails B033 using MdU 9, 11, 13, 59 and 107.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

This was one of those nails that I thought the flakies would look cool with matte top coat, so added a coat.

It's Fall!

Fall has officially arrived!

I have a little head start on fall nails this year because I have a few mani's from last fall that I didn't get around to sharing!  Including this one!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of OPI Como Se Llama with accent of Color Club Je Ne Sais Quoi, all two coats, no top coat.

Did a sponged gradient using OPI Como Se Llama? and OPI It's Piazza Cake, then topped accent with Rogue Arizona.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Delaney Feuillages A001 using Hit The Bottle Magna Opus (PPU September 2019).

Stamped accent nail using Painted Polish Stamped in Sweet Potato using image from UC mini Hello Fall and Pumpkin Spice, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Prelude to Fall Nails!

With the official arrival of fall right around the corner, I've started to think about sharing a few more fall nails.  If only I didn't still have summer nails to share lol.  I guess they will wait and I'll share them in the cold of winter to remind us that summer is around the corner...or to brighten a day during a snow storm.  We'll see; they'll get shared eventually!

Anyway, these are my prelude to fall nails.  Not really fall but close enough to make them fall appropriate!  I had picked up some polishes from Winners one day recently and thought I'd try them out and this mani was born.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Lakur Silver Birch, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

After it had dried for 15 minutes or so, did a sponged gradient using same base polish and Lakur Save The Queen.  I don't know what others do for sponged gradients, but I always top coat the base and wait now; have for some time now.  I used to wait just for the base to dry, but I found that sometimes the sponge would start taking polish off the nail instead of on it so find this works better for me.  I tried different polishes, different sponges; kept on having the same issue.  Don't have this problem when I top coat it first!

Topped with KBShimmer Cleary on Top.  I touched the middle finger with the sponge but knew I was going to stamp on top of it so left it.

Using China Glaze GR8, stamped using an image from Lina Make Your Mark 08.  I like that you can actually see the holo in these pix.

Shadow stamped using same image using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

I didn't shadow stamp the thumb that well though.  But to fix it would have been redoing the whole nail and as I did these nails around 11:30 pm and was getting tired, I decided to live with it.  It could only really been seen with these magnified pictures anyway.  It was the first name I did and although the shadow stamping aren't overly tight on the rest, I did get a little better lol.  I can live with it anyway!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Neon Nails!

I know fall is right around the corner, but I think neon nails are good for any season!  Who else loves to wear neon all year round and thinks everyday is good for neon nails??!!

Here's what I had on my nails not too long ago...fall be damned!

Started with a stamper smooshy base of Fancy Gloss Neon Yellow, Neon Green, Striking Blue and FF Gesso.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Moyra 114 Thee Brightest Light using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Comment if you wear neon any time of the year!

Sweater Nails!

Too soon??!!

We've had some cool nights lately and with some cool windy days, I've had to wear a sweater outside too!  Too soon to put on the heat but a sweater lessens the chill a little bit.  Here's a mani I did last winter that I thought I'd share right now!

Started with a base of Different Dimension Mystery Proto 145, two coats, no top coat.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using images from Powder Perfect Christmas 1 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Another Daisy Mani!

You didn't think I had no more daisy mani's to share, did you?  I still have a few to share!  I've been challenging myself to come up with different looks and am surprised that I can still think of different ways to wear the same image over and over.  Here's another one I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Pretty Serious All-nighter, no top coat.

Topped with a thin coat of Glam Polish Ravenclaw.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped with image from Lina 4 Seasons-Spring 02 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with KBShimer Clearly on Top.

Added some dots using MdU 52.

Finished with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.
