Halloween Gradient

I love a good gradient; I just wasn't as happy how the stamping on this mani looked on this mani but there's always another day!

For the graident, did a base of Color Club Almost Famous, then sponged it, OPI Red and Essence Hello Summer!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Lantern & Wren Haunted Halloween

Stamped using Lina Spooklicious! 02 on middle, ring and index, UberChic UC Halloween-02 on pinky and Lantern & Wren Haunted Halloween on thumb using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top (but no picture of it, oddly enough!).  Thanks for looking!

Pumpkins!

This was a pretty simple, yet cute, funky french I did a few nights ago!

Started with a base of two coats of Pahlish Ghost in My Lungs, with an accent of Girly Bits Funky Town.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Did a funky french using an image from Konad Square 17 with UberChic Halloween 02 on accent.  Used Mdu 53 for pumpkins and MdU 2 for pumpkin face.

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I did Ms. Cindy a little different and for those who are all matchy matchy with their polish and stamping polish like me, Revlon Alluring Amber is a perfect match with the MdU 53!

Spiders!

I'm not sure why spiders are associated with Halloween; I guess you could wear them anytime of the year and not just at Halloween.  Anyway, I did a bunch of spiders or spider associated images for my first Halloween mani!  I have to say, I absolutely love the middle image and really hope I can fit it into another mani soon!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Pahlish Yellow Brick Road.  Despite the name, I see this is a tad on the green side so thought it might be good to use for a Halloween mani.  Even if not green, I still love how you can use any polish and turn it into Halloween or something unexpected or out of the norm!

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped with an assortment of images; UberChic Halloween 001 (index), Lina Spooklicious 01 (ring and pinky), Marianne Nails n.130 (middle) and UberChic Halloween 002 (thumb).

Marianne Nails n.130

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

I got this cute little ring from Cuter Cuticles last year and forgot to wear it so I tried to remember to wear it this year!

Hope you're having a great weekend; thanks for looking!

Mouth Breather by CANVAS lacquer

Mouth Breather by CANVAS lacquer** is another polish that is part of the recently released The Upside Down Collection by CANVAS lacquer.  As you can see from this picture, it's a thermal polish; I didn't do anything special to make it go thermal so it's quite sensitive all on its own.  But as you can tell, I run hot and cold all over as all my nails are a little different stages of thermal!  Maybe the hubs is right when he tells me this lol!

Started with a base of three coats of Mouth Breather by CANVAS lacquer.  This is shown with no top coat. This lovely kelly green shade is the cool state which just happened to be my body temperature when I was taking pictures.  And I love it!  While I do like the blue of the warm state, this vibrant green shade is a perfect green for me!  So many options with summer nails, Halloween, perfect green shade for Christmas nails...oh, so many possibilities!

Mouth Breather by CANVAS lacquer is described as:

a grassy green thermal that transitions to an ocean blue when warm with added golden shimmer and a sprinkle of iridescent glitters.

Shown here with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Added spiders from UberChic Halloween 01 and 02 using FunkyFingers Dark Knight, as well as Star Nails 48 on thumb.

Added a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

This is Ms. Cindy; she transitioned more but still like a gradient which is all natural; no dipping hands in water or anything!  This is just how I run hot and cold I guess!  (Makes me wonder about my hand circulation....!)

CANVAS lacquer polishes are available via their Etsy shop here!; CANVAS lacquer ships worldwide to select countries.
