Happy Easter!!

Hopefully everyone had a good Easter weekend!  Here's the final set of Easter nails that I have to share this year!

MdU AZ Easter

MdU AZ Easter 2

Started with skittles; starting at thumb and going clockwise:  Essie Take The Lead, Zoya Kay, China Glaze Holy Sugar!, Zoya Lena and Zoya Tilda, no top coat.

Topped with Penelope Luz Scocery, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Decided to do some tone on tone stamping:  used MdU AZ Easter for words and index image and MdU AZ Easter 2 for the rest; I shrank some images and also double stamped some images to get image opaque.  Stamping polishes used were CjS 165, CjS 212, CjS 218, Painted Polish Stamped in Royalty and MdU 11.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

The Easter Bunny is Coming To Town!

Here's another quick Easter nail art!

Started with a base of flakie skittles; starting at thumb and going clockwise, used Pahlish Notorious RBG, Girly Bits I Beg Your Garden, Pahlish Boo Berry Ice Cream Sample Batch, Pahlish Flutterfly and Girly Bits Peep Calm and Polish On.  All over a coat of Cupcake White Pop.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

MdU AZ Easter Gnomes 1

Stamped all nails using image from MdU AZ Easter Gnomes 1 using shrinking/enlargening stamper and shrunk a few of the images to fit on the nail better.  Used Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Using words from CjS H-87 and MdU AZ Easter Gnomes 1, added words to the thumb, then topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Easter Time!

It's Easter time and I'm going to share a few Easter mani's over this next few days, starting with this one!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Zoya Shannon, no top coat.  My index finger is growing out a bit; enough that I'm sharing nails even though they are less than perfect!

Added a coat of Pahlish Witches Brew Sample Batch on accent nails, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped most nails using image from Creative Shop 182 Basic using MdU 52, and words on index nails from MoYou London Festive Collection-76 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Added cute bunnies in different sizes and locations on nails using shrinking/enlargening stamper from image from Nicole Diary 042 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Also added a few little itty, bitty flowers from same image.  I had shadow stamped the ring finger and it didn't turn out the best, so removed it and tried again with MdU 52 as the base.

Dotted the itty, bitty flowers using Zoya Shannon and shadow stamped the words on the ring finger more successfully.  I think this stamping is more balanced versus if the green was the predominant colour for the words.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter!  

I'm sharing these nails today between Good Friday and Easter Monday as, other than the Easter nails I shared a couple days ago, these are the only Easter nails I'll be sharing this year.  My index fingers is almosstttt grown to the free edge but alas, my ring finger is now showing signs of nail injury and I think it's a matter of time before I have to remove the lifted section of nail to avoid losing it all.  3 nails in less than a year; it has been tough for this nail stamping fanatic.  If there is any consolation, it is that I haven't been buying as nearly many polishes as I have in the past as it just isn't that exciting to buy polishes that you can't wear.  I've still been wearing polish even on the darkest nail days but am leaning towards a plain creme or a dark holo with minimal to no stamping.  But I am looking forward to when they are all grown out so I can get back to doing my nails like I used to.  In the meanwhile, I'm doing plain nails and rocking shorties!

Started with a base of pastel skittles; starting at thumb and going clockwise:  Sally Hansen Sunbrella, OPI Polly Want a Lacquer?, OPI It's A Boy, OPI Suzi Shops & Island Hops and Margan Taylor Mint Chocolate Chip, no top coat.

Topped wwith Familiar Lacquer Bespeckled, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I found matching, or pretty close to, stamping polishes for each of the base colours.

Rotated each base colour one nail clockwise and stamped that colour on the next base polish; stamping polishes are MdU 43, light purple MDU (don't know number), MdU 85, MdU 99 and MoYou London Olive Tree, using image from Wistonia W216.

Stamped using images from Beauty Big Bang XL-103 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief on all fingers, and AZ Easter Gnomes 2 on thumb.

Took the surround image from the finger images and put it on the thumb to frame.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Thought this might be one of those mani's that look cool in matte, so added Essie Matte About You.

I left Ms. Cindy with just base polishes and topper; liked how it turned out too!  I think this was matted.

Easter Nails!

 These are the nails that I wore last Easter, but unfortunately, I didn't make note of the plates, polishes or stamping polishes, but I'll try to mention as much as I can.

Started with a base of Revlon Ultra HD Snap! Blue My Mind, with an unknown gradient that was slightly darker.

Topped with KShimmer Clearly on Top.

Made a few stamper decals.  The plates that I can recognize images from are MoYou London Festive 22 (index), MoYou London Festive 11 (middle), BP-60 (ring), Beauty Big Bang XL-103.  I couldn't find the pinky image but will update if I do.

These were base and stamping polishes.

Added some shadow stamped images on the index (dragon and butterfly) and flower on the thumb.

Spring Nails!

I did these nails while I was doing Easter nails, but they didn't turn out to be too Easter looking, even though I used a MoYou plate that had Easter images on it!  But it does make a nice, albeit different,  spring floral mani, so I'm sharing it now.  And yes, I know roses don't bloom in spring!  

Started with a base of two coats of Dimension Nails Mangrove Frog, no top coat.  I wasn't a fan of the brush so switched it out with the KBShimmer wide brush and it worked well.  FYI for anyone if you wanted to know if it worked with this brand.

Added Moo Moo Signatures Rainbow Please Don't Go Away (PPU June 21) on accent nails, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Marianne Nails n114 using MdU 80 on the glitter topped nails, then added images from MoYou London Festive 25 using MdU 15 on the creme, plus isolated the middle rose and put it on the plaid as well.

Stamped the middle of the same image again using MdU 93, then (kinda) shadow stamped all the rose images.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

This is a little different but that's OK, I still like how they turned out!
