Tropical Flowers

One of the cool things about vacationing in the tropics is the oh so pretty tropical flowers and I always stop and take lots of pictures of them when I see them.  This is an ode to the tropical florals that I see while on vacation.

Started with a base of OPI Living on the Bula-vard and Essie Love-all Game, no top coat.

Layered with Fancy Gloss Ethiopian Opal, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Lina 4 Seasons-Summer 02 and UberChic UC Beach Please, using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.  Had a little bit of stamping smear on the middle finger; this is why I now use Apipila Smudge Free top coat before top coating.

I also used Essie Matte About You as thought it would be nice to see the flakes of the Fancy Gloss and it didn't disappoint.

Thanks for looking!

Beach Days!

It's about this time of year that we're all counting the days until we can lounge at the beach or around the pool and some are lucky folks are lucky enough to go down south to somewhere warm around this time of year and if you are one of them, I'm jealous!  In the meanwhile, the rest of us will have to settle with beach nails!

Did a sponged gradient using KBShimmer Sky Jinx, KBShimmer In Yacht Water and Girly Bits Sea You Next Fall.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using images from Moyra 66 (words on ring), SugarBubbles SB31 (index), Lina 4 Seasons-Summer 01 (pinky) and UberChic Beach Please (thumb, middle and images on ring) using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped using Painted Polish Blanc Slate to finish.

Thanks for looking and enjoy your trip down south if you are lucky enough to be travelling!

Keep Calm and Enjoy Summer

Summer has officially arrived and we finally have had a few hot days.  A little too hot but are we ever happy with the weather?  Too hot, too cold, too much rain, no rain...never happy, I tell ya!

Started with a base of Color Club Peace Out Purple, Color Club Mrs. Robinson and Morgan Taylor Anime-zing Color!, with accent nails using all three in a sponged gradient, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using images from UberChic Beach Please (ring, pinky and index), Lina 4 Seasons-Summer 03 thumb) and Moyra 6-Exotique (middle) using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, with shadow stamping using it and MdU 20 on the thumb.  Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Thanks for looking and enjoy summer!

Take Me To The Beach!

I pulled a bunch of summer themed plates and have been doing a lot of beach inspired mani's including this one.  Hopefully I don't get into a theme trap like I have been doing lately with a whole bunch of leaves in the fall, snowflakes in the winter, daisies in the spring...but I guess we'll see!  But just in case, be prepared to see lots of beach mani's like this one; here's what I came up with!

Started with a stamper smooshy base using Pahlish Cascades, China Glaze Capacity to See Beyond, Essie Style Cartel, Essie Viva Antigua! and FunkyFingers Gesso.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using images from UberChic UC Beach Plates (thumb and middle), What's Up Nails A019 (index), SugarBubbles SB 051 (pinky) and CreativeShop 84 (ring) using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

What's Up Nails A019.

Shadow stamped with Painted Polish Deux 2.0 using same images.  Stamped some a little too tight, some a little too loose; one of these days I'll get it right!

Finished with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Hope you're having a fantastic week and thanks for looking!
