Hello New Year!

Hello, 2026!  Here's to the New Year!

This post is short and sweet as I only took a few pictures of these nail, which I wore to ring in 2026!  Started with a base of OPI Black Onyx.

Stamped using KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

After waiting about 45 minutes to ensure they were dry, stamped using MdU AZ New Year on the thumb and ring, and Maniology M445 on the rest of them.  I used holographic chrome power to highlight the image after stamping with CjS sticky stamping polish as it dries the slowest.  I did the pinky first and it turned out great; however, the middle and index fingers, it went full coverage on the nail.  Instead of removing it, I just went with the flow and then stamped the image on top of the chrome, but I really wanted all the nails to look like the pinky image so the stamped image was holographic. I don't know why it went full on coverage as this was my first time using chrome powder and haven't researched it but the nails were bone dry so it shouldn't have stuck.

After topping with a coat of Sophi water base top coat, topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Maniology M445

I did Ms. Cindy slightly different; used same base polish and plates but stamping using CbL Sparkling Diamond stamping polish and whooo-eeee, it really sparkles like a diamond!  This is a really good option for stamped holographic nails!

I did these charcuterie boards for our stay in on the couch New Year's Eve; we had the board around 11 pm and then a candy board at midnight.  I  thought they turned out pretty cool so thought I'd share!

And oh my lantra, cutting those letters out from cheese was tedious but I think they took the board to another level!

I wish the best to you and yours in 2026!

Spiders!

I did this mani back in 2019 but didn't get around to sharing it then or last year so I thought I had better get it shared this year before another year goes by!

Started with a base of OPI Black Onyx with accent nail of OPI DS Shimmer.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

What's Up Nails B054 ( I have no idea why it's shared here; didn't even use it for these nails.  I must have thought I was then changed my mind!)

Stamped using image from UberChic Halloween 03 using CbL Sparkling Diamonds, with an accent of UberChic Halloween 01 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Thanks for looking!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!  All the best to you and yours in 2019!

These are the nails I'll be wearing to ring in the new year!  Pretty fancy nails to be wearing while watching tv in my pajamas but that's OK!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of JReine Cosmetics Goldschlager.  What a stunner!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Stamped using CbL Panther Stamping Polish using image from Sugar Bubbles SBS 014.  I really like this look just by itself lol!

Sugar Bubbles SBS 014.

I decided to do some shadow stamping; did numbers using Nicole by OPI Positive Energy using images from Maniology M042.  Used image HD-B on thumb.

Shadow stamped using same images with MdU 2.

Maniology M042

Love!  I know there's a lot happening here and it is pretty blingy especially with holo base then holo stamping polish then silver on top of the gold!  I'm glad I did the shadow stamping to make the numbers and words pop a little better.

Added KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Enjoy New Year's Eve whether you are sitting on the couch watching the ball drop like me or are out and about enjoying the festivities.  Be safe!

Thank for looking!

For Day 4 of Digit-al Dozen does stamping challenge, I'm sharing this mani that I thought turned out pretty cool with some distressed looking stamping.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of CND Creative Play Steel The Show, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Using a combination of Cbl stamping polish in Royalty and Lilac Petals, as well as MdU 42 and FunkyFingers Gesso, stamped using an image from Sugar Bubbles SB 040.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Butterflies!

I shared this mani a while back on IG but haven't shared anywhere else so thought I would do now!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Essence Jeans On!, no top coat.

Added a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Cbl Lilac Petals Stamping Polish, Moyra SP04 and FunkyFingers Gesso.

Top coated with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using images from Marianne Nails n.104 using MdU 1. Each of the butterflies were stamped individually....that's 16 individual stamps!

Marianne Nails n.104

The added sparkle from Cbl Lilac Petals just adds so much more to this stamping!

Finished with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Digit-al Dozen Does Vampy; Day 5

I'm super late for Day 5 of the Digit-al Dozen vampy challenge; while I had my nails done in time as I did them last Thursday night to share on Friday, at first I was too busy on Friday to do a post.  Then when I had time, my internet was down and then when I finally had internet, couldn't narrow down the pix to post. (Exactly how many pictures are too many to share?)  As I type this post and then edit it, I guess I'll see how many I cut out but I took maybe 200 or so pictures of this mani as I love the holo web sooo much and how holo it looks but I know no one wants to see THAT many pictures so I'll try to keep it down to a reasonable level! Here's what I came up with!

Holoooooo!

Started with a base of two coats of Kit Holiday in Spain.  This is probably the vampiest my nails have ever been!  I see in the pix that there are some thin spots; they weren't visible IRL and I'm surmising that its from the lighting but I do wish I had have done three coats for darker coverage regardless because it irked me seeing the bald patches in my pictures!  This is probably the best I've every applied a dark, vampy colour like this!  Because I know that clean up can still show lots of red tinge, I was super careful with my application to try to keep it at a minimum and didn't do too badly!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top before stamping.

Wanting a stamping polish to add some umph to the nails, stamped using Colors by llarowe Sparkling Diamonds Stamping Polish using an image from Handy 2 with accent of HK-11.  I couldn't get the strand to stamp well so added it with a brush.

Love!

On the blurry side but you can see the holo so well!

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly to Top to finish.

This many was part of the duo I did last Thursday night as two challenges due on the same day!

Hopefully that was a tolerable number of pictures!  Here's the other ladies Day 5 vampy nails!
