Boo!

 With Halloween around the corner, it's time to start sharing some Halloween nails!  Starting with these cute ghosts!

Started with a base of Morgan Taylor Tiki Tiki Laranga, over Cupcake White Pop.

Topped with a coat of BeesKnees Rumpeld ckskin.  No, that is not a typo.  

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped thumb, index and pinky with image from HK-11 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, then did layered stamping with images from CjS H-74 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief and Blanc Slate.

Add words on thumb with image from Marianne Nails n117 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Finished with a final cot of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians!  And if you're not celebrating today, perhaps this is nail art inspo for your own mani when you are celebrating!

Started with a base of fall colours; Color Club Beaches (thumb), Essie You Know the Espadrille (pinky and index) CND Vinylux Candle Light (middle) and Essie to dyi for (ring), no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Applied two stamper decals; Infinity Nails 65 on the thumb and MdU Autumn 4 on middle finger.  Did layered stamping on the pinky and index using UC mini:  Give Thanks 2 and stamped words on ring using the same plate except the word happy, which is from MdU Autumn 4.  Stamping polishes used were MdU 13, 53, 66 and 106, as well as Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Fall Abstract

These are a little out of my comfort zone and although it isn't a style I wear often, I don't mind them.  Not my favourite, but I've done worse.  

Started with a base of three coats of Wildflower Lacquer Drink Like A Fish, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped with image from Lina Make Your Mark 01 using MdU 48, 106 and 107 on all nails for fall colours, then added images on top using Lesly Golden Autumn (middle, thumb and pinky), and Maniology M022 (ring and index) using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief. I think in hindsight, I should have did leaves like on the middle and thumb, but hey, there's always next time.  Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Added a coat of matte for a different look and I think this was my favourite.

The good thing about doing something that isn't your style is that with a bit of remover and cotton rounds, you can remove it and start afresh.

Happy National Coffee Day

 Today is National Coffee Day and the coffee lover in me had to share nails!  Here's what I came up with!

I did these nails last year and shared on IG but didn't do a blog post so thought I'd share now!  Base polishes are Wet n Wild Potassium Rich, Essie To DYI For, Essie You Know the Espadrille, BKind Sorbet and Color Club unlabeled. 

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top. 

Stamping plates used are CjS H-101 (index and middle), Journails Pumpkin Spice Latte (ring and thumb), CjS-148 (pinky and some accent filler leafs) and Manitude X Nooks & Crannies (Tims on middle) using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, MdU 11, 12, 13, 53, 56, 66 and 106, plus did a couple custom mix colours.  I had to make my coffee a triple triple just like IRL lol.

Blue Leaves

Another untraditional fall mani; this with shades of blues!

Started with a base of two coats of Girly Bits Winterference from the Fall is My Second Favourite F Word Collection, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top. 

Stamped with image from Lina @urbannailart collab using MdU 91.

Added dots with Painted Polish Blanc Slate. 

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

It’s My Birthday!

Here's to another trip around the sun and another year older!  Here's the nails I'm wearing to my birthday today!

Started with a base of Cupcake White Pop, then topped with OPI Summer Monday-Fridays, with an accent of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Put a coat of Quo Epic Remix over OPI MBSW, then added top coat.

Added balloons using image from MoYou Festive 69 and the small bubbles from Chez Delaney Fete 003 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.  Stamping colours are MdU 11, 13, 29, 91 and 102.  Some of the images weren't the best, so I used a brush and filled in where needed.

Added words on accent nails with image from MoYou Festive 69 and MdU 11.  Dotted using all colours except 102.

Shadow stamped on accent MdU 91; however, it wasn't quite what I was looking for.

So shadow stamped again using MdU 102, then added a few dots 102 to match.  

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I did Ms. Cindy slightly different, but still on theme!
