Floral Stripes

It's been a hot minute since I posted last.  Sorry, but sometimes life and work get busy and blogging suffers.  But I have a free evening and I hope to draft a few posts including this one!

UberChic 29-02.

Started with a base of two coats of Olive Ave Polish Skylight, no top coat.

Topped accent nails with Polished for Days Esperance.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped lines with image from Lina Feeling Shapely! 01 using MdU 80 and flowers from UberChic 29-02 using MdU 80 and 15.

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

As if these weren't busy enough, I decided to add a few dots for some interest using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Which version do you like best?  I think I prefer with the dots.  More whimsical!

Fall Leaves!

Fall in not only my favourite time of year, but it is my favourite season to do for nail art and I usually have so many manis completed, I don't get to share them all.  This is from last fall that I didn't share; here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of skittles; polishes used starting at thumb and going clockewise:  Olive Avenue Polish Golden Hour, OPI My Italian is a Little Rusty, and OPI Have Your Pantelone and Eat It too.

Topped with Garden Path Lacquers And She Had No Fear (HHC Halloween 2022).

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using an image from Creative Shop 182 Basic using Hit The Bottle From The Ground Up (PPU August 2021).

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Did double layered stamping as did the leaf image on top of the plaid using Clear Jelly Stamper CjS 135, using MdU 11, 13, 53 and 106.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

The next day, added a coat of Essie Matte About You.

Season's Greetings

It's Boxing Day here in Canada and for me, that is a day to sleep in and take it easy after the hustle and bustle of Christmas Day.  In years past, we would be heading to my husband's family Christmas but his family decided to do things different this year, so it means its a day to chillax at home.  Hopefully you are too today but if not, well, the weekends only a few more days away!  I kind of went crazy with mistletoe nails this year and here is another one!  It didn't turn out as I envisioned but that's OK, I'll try another time!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Olive Ave Polish Scape, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Lina 4 Seasons-Winter 03 and words from Bunny Nails HD-F using Moyra SP02 and SP14.

Used Moyra SP02 for berries on the mistletoes.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Season's Greetings

With Christmas right around the corner, I thought I should start to share a few holiday themed nails!  I've only done a few so far this year for a couple reasons; I have a nail injury so my nails aren't the best to share and just no time!  I hope to have some more time in the new year!  In the mean time, here's what I came up with!

Winter M02

Started with a base of two coats of Olive Ave Polish Terre, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Winter M02 on all fingers using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Added sprigs on ring finger using same Winter M02 plate, then added words using Powder Perfect Christmas 1 using Konad red, then added a few dots for some colour and interest.

Finished with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.
