It's no secret that I've had nail issues the last couple years. I think it's behind me, but it didn't stop me from doing my nails, even if it was just painting them. Too much polish problems! But seriously, I like to do my nails. It relaxes me, lets me have a creative outlet and overall, I feel better when my nails are done. I think this last thing is the most important reason why those who do their nails do. You will get it. So this is why I have pictures of my imperfect perfect nails and why I'm also sharing them. No one has perfect nails all the time; everyone has a break at some time, or their nails aren't filed just so, or they have a hangnail, or the polish colour gives them lobster hands. We've all been there, right? I know I certainly have been. Which is why I still do my nails and still share them, as it might give someone an idea for their own nails. And it makes me happy, which is really what it's all about. Some days, that sparkle or holo rainbow is the brightness needed to lift spirits and that makes it worth it. Lobster hands and all!
