More Snowflakes!

I know the calendar says April 4th but when I looked out my window just before starting a blog post, I seen about an inch of snow on the ground.  So that means reason for me to post another snowflake mani before the it melts, which will probably be by morning.  So here is yet another snowflake mani that I did this past winter but hadn't shared yet.

Started with a base of Essie Ride the Soundwave, then topped with a coat of Scofflaw Heisenberg.

Then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Shadow stamped using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and 2.0 using MdU AZ Winter 2 for words on ring, and Kads Christmas 026 for the rest. This is the best shadow stamping I have every done; I can only thank the large magnifying light that I got as a gift at Christmas time.  What a game changer!

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Daisies!

Another day, another daisy mani!  I've been seeking out different images to use for daisies instead of my favourite Lina 4 Seasons-Spring 02 and I'm really digging these that I found on a Kad's plate.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of blues using OPI Duoma Days, Duoma Nights and OPI Grabs the Unicorn by the Horn.

Topped thumb with By Vanessa Molina Nail Polish Morpheus (HHC August 2022).

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped Lines on index and pinky using EYNails n.2 using MdU 91, and then daisies in assortment of sizes from KADS 066 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.  Also stamped a few daisies from same plate using MdU 91.

Added floral centers using Painted Polish Stamped in Starfruit.

Ms.Cindy also had the same stamping.  I actually like the thumb on this hand more than the other.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Hello, Spring!

Spring....where are you?  We've had oodles of rain and it's a bit on the mild side but overall, it is cool and damp....well like spring, I suppose! But hey, it's May now and we haven't had much nice weather...not lately, anyway.  Maybe if I post this spring mani I did, it might be some good juju!

Started with a base of two coats each of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and Zoya Tilda, no top coat.

Applied a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I had made a couple stamper decals from an image from KADS 023 using acrylic paints.

Before I applied them, stamped using FunkyFingers Gesso using an image from Lina 4 Seasons - Spring 01.

Then disaster struck.  As I moved my hand away from the lighting after taking the last pix, I knocked over a bottle of polish remover, hitting the middle nail on it, which caused a flaw.  I had only made the two stamper decals so didn't have another to fill in, so I just patched it up as best as can be but its obvious in the pix unfortunately. But I soldiered on so added a few dots from Nicole by OPI Bee in the Moment.

Then added a few black to tie it all in using FunkyFingers Dark Knight.

Topped everything off with a coat of KBShimmer to finish.

It was too bad about the fixed up nail but I think these nails were cute anyway!  Hopefully they will bring on the much anticipated spring weather we are longing for!
