Season's Greetings!

The holiday season is in full swing and before we know it, it will be December 26th and we'll be contemplating what we are going to be doing for New Year's! I'm actually going to have a pretty low key Christmas; however, the weekend after will be quite busy as we have having family get togethers both days. Anyway, I was looking through all the holiday nail art plates and came across the cutest gingerbread man plate on the thumb so decided to do nails based around gmen! Here's what I came up with!

This was my test hand; the thumb turned out better placement wise so thought I'd share is too!

Started with a base of three coats of Scofflaw Ugly Renaissance Baby Paintings, no top coat. This was part of April 2019 Polish Pickup.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using images from Wistonia Have a Merry X'mas!(thumb) and B. Loves B.10 on the rest using MdU 22.

Added seasonal greetings on thumb using Maniology M036 and holly using Marianne Nails n.118 using Konad red and MdU 37. Also added dots here, there and everywhere using same two stamping polishes.

Decided didn't have enough dots so added more using CND Bicycle Yellow. That isn't really why I added more lol, it was to brighten up the nails a bit! This pix isn't the best; I had a really hard time with glare on the stamping as you can see on the pix above so tried some different lighting.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish. Funny hand post to try to get the words on the thumb visible!

These almost made me want to make some gmen cookies. Almost.

Digit-al Dozen Does Accent Nails; Day 4

I'm a little late in sharing but this is my day 4 mani for Digit-al Dozen accent nail challenge! Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Girly Bits Little Red Toque with an accent of Zoya Tilda, no top coat.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped with images from Lina 4 Seasons-Winter 02 (middle an thumb), B. Loves B.10 (stripes) and Creative Shop 155 (ring) using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Added a few accent dots using same base polishes.

Decided more were needed so kinda went dot crazy, then added a coat of KBShimmer to finish.

Digit-al Dozen Does Holo; Day 1

It's Digit-al Dozen week! This month's theme is holo. Finally a challenge that isn't so much of a challenge as I wear holo on a pretty regular basis and can do any type of nail art as long as holo is involved in some way! Thankfully this also means I don't have to research or google about the theme (yes, a lot of planning goes into manis sometimes!)! As it's getting close to Christmas and because we have now transitioned from fall to winter, I'm pretty sure all my manis will be winter or holiday related. Think. Because this is the first posted mani and I'm not quite sure what the remaining posts will be. Other than they are holo! Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Colors by Llarowe Santa Baby with accent of CrowsToes Bunny Slope over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, no top coat. CbL Santa Baby is pretty much Christmas in a bottle; the perfect hue of red (and holo!) for the season!

Stamped using images from Creative Shop 42 (thumb), Marianne Nails Professional n.31 (middle and ring) and B. Loves B.10 Merry Christmas (pinky and index) using FunkyFingers Gesso.
