Started with a base of one coat of FingerPaints Raspberry Taffy, no topcoat. (Coverage wasn't the best with one coat but I knew I'd be layering, etc, so left with it.)
For a faded night look, sponged on L'Oreal Jet Set to Paris. No cleanup as I knew I was doing more sponging!)
Added a bit more darker blue to gradient using Studio M Cold Metal. Added bonus of silver shimmer!
Top coated.
Stamped on scenery using Bunny Nails HD-I using black FUN stamping polish. There were quite a few voids to the stamping so filled in as needed.
Top coated.

Stamped in 15 individual snow flakes using white Konad special polish from an image on Chez Xmas 001.
To finish, added snow using China Glaze There's Snow One Like You.
Here's the other ladies Day 1 mani's!

ReplyDeleteThis is just the sort of thing I'd have liked to have pulled off - if only I had your plate stash. Your final touches around the stamping are amazing!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me think of a painting you would see in a Hallmark, and it was made specifically for the holidays! I love the little smoke stack and the smoke coming out, gorgeous!
