Sweater Weather!

It be chilly outside the last few days and there is nothing better to fend off the chill than a sweater.  I have to admit, I maybe did go overboard doing sweater and snowflake nails so there may be a lot of them between now and spring!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of What Addition? The Final Fall (Little Box of Horrors February 2025), no top coat.

Topped with Mooncat Trannasourus Hex for a little bit brighter pop of green and interest.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using MoYou Festive-31 (which was shrunk to fit the nails using the sizing stamper).  Accent nails is MdU Winter 3, using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

For a change, I topped with Essie Matte About You, which I preferred actually.

Then topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Sunflowers!

We're in the dreary days of winter and I'm counting down the days until the skies are sunny and the breeze is warm!  On a hot summer day last summer, we did a walk through a sunflower field with our granddaughter that was one of the highlights of our summer and I'm looking forward to doing it again this year!  In the meanwhile, I'll have to look at these sunny nails!

Started with a base of two coats of Wet n Wild Potassium Rich, no top coat.

Topped with Garden Path When the Owl & Witch Together Are Seen, no top coat.

Stamped using What's Up B044 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Warm Winter Wishes !

This is the mani I did right after the 'Do You Want To Build A Snowman' mani as I loved how the thumb nail turned out; I wanted to do an entire mani in the same design!  Sometimes, the inspiration is this simple!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Orly Midnight Oasis, two coats, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from MoYou London Noel-19 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate with an accent nail of MdU AZ Winter 3.

Added a few random dots using MdU 91 for a pop of colour.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Do You Want To Build A Snowman?

There's a lot of years we don't get enough snow, or good snowman building snow, but this year isn't one of them!  We've already had one snowman on our front lawn and I'm sure there will be more before winter is out!  This is also being used for #MusicManiMonday as believe it or not, there is a song called Do You Want To Build A Snowman?! 

Started with a base of Glam Polish Who Is The Hansomest....Me! over Cupcake White Pop (middle and ring), Orly Midnight Oasis (thumb) and Orly Rise & Shine topped with Emily de Molly It Calls Me Back (index and pinky).

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using images from Simply Polished Christmas (snowman on ring), UberChic UC Let It Snow (middle and snowflakes on index and pinky), and MoYou London Noel 19 using MdU 11, 13, 91, Painted Polish Deux 2.0, Midnight Mischief and Blanc Slate.

    

Added a few snowflakes on middle from UC Simply Polished and dots using MdU 91 for interest and filler.  I kind of had a mishap with the dot on the thumb as I smudged it when I went to take the picture so had to fix it up a bit.

Happy Birthday, Dad!

Today is my Dad's birthday, and he also shared his birthday with Elvis, who happens to be his favourite singer, so I'm doing my annual Elvis tribute nails to celebrate my dad!  Hope you have a great day and year, Dad!

I was looking through my prior posts and noticed that I always seem to do Elvin nails on a white base with black stamping, so I decided I wanted to do really bright nails this year.  Started with a base of two coats of KBShimmer Mix It Up, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from MdU Elvis using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Did Ms. Cindy different using images from the same stamping plate.

Added a few star bursts from Maniology M001 for interest and filler.

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Will the Snow Ever End?

The holiday season is over and now were in the throes of winter.  It's snowing as I type this and even with the snow that we have, we've been lucky compared to other parts of Ontario who already have several feet of snow.  The only good thing about the white stuff is it gives me reason to do pretty snowflake mani's including this one!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with two coats of Morgan Taylor Totally Better, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Topped accent nails with one thin coat of Pahlish Boo Bayou.

Applied KBShimmer Clearly on Top again.  The first time was a mistake.

The images with the lines and snowflakes are from Nicole Diary-L32, the rest are Bohemia Stamping Frosted Fairyland, all using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.  

Finished with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I did Ms. Cindy slightly different; applied the Pahlish to all nails along with the lines and snowflakes.

Started with a base of Penelope Luz Yin Yang 10 Years on base of Cupcake White Pop (thumb and pinky), Zoya Carey topped with Noodles Nail Polish Sugar Hill (middle) and Pahlish Fresh Out the Slammer on the rest.

Stamped using images from SugarBubbles SBS 031 (thumb), SugarBubbles SBS12 (middle), MouTeen-197 (cheers and you on the ring), Clear Jelly Stamper CjS H-48 (pinky, index and numbers on ring).  Used Hit The Bottle To Have and To Gold and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief stamping polishes.  I didn't see the stamping on the middle finger on my skin until after I had taken this picture and did the next step.  D'uh!

Added words To and You with image from Moyra 111 Editor and shadow stamped the other words.  Still didn't see the stamping on the middle finger that extended onto the skin.

Here, I finally seen it and fixed it lol!

Added some starbursts/fireworks on thumb, index and middle using CjS H48

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

This is one of those manis that you think the details will shine when its matte topcoated, so added a layer of Essie Matte About You.  I'm divided which version I like better!
