Digit-al Dozen Does Gradient; Day 1

It's Digit-al Dozen week!  This months challenge is gradient, which is one of my current favourite things to do for nail art!  Some of these pix I've had saved for a while knowing that the challenge was coming so you might see a lot of different nail lengths as they were taken over such a span of time.  The other thing I discovered is pink or purple or pink and purple seems to be my most favourite gradient colour scheme; I had 5 gradients uploaded for the theme and realized that every single one of them were in this colour scheme!  I might change it up with a few other or you might just end up seeing a pink and purple; I guess we'll see how the week goes as I don't have all the posts done yet!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Celestial Cosmetics Hope Is The New Pink; no top coat.  This was exclusive to the Hella Holo Customs FB group.

Did a sponged gradient using Colors by Llarowe Oops!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top before stamping.

Stamped using Chez Delaney Floral A001 using Funky Fingers Gesso.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Here's the other ladies Day 1 gradient mani's!

Celestial Men of Mayhem

I'm going through a dark pink, red and purple polish phase; I can't seem to get enough of them!  When I was searching through my stash looking for one to wear not too long ago, I came across this untried, Celestial Cosmetics Men of Mayhem; this is what I came up with!

Different lighting; shows a little lighter than IRL.

Started with a base of two coats of Celestial Men of Mayhem.  Here's a few different pix in different lighting with no top coat and with top coat.

Different lighting; shows lighter than it is IRL.

I had been looking at newly received Infinity plates; the first image that grabbed my eye was from Infinity 96** and I thought it would go well with this base; stamped using white Konad special polish.

Different lighting shows it a bit lighter than it is IRL.

A closer look at Infinity 96.  I used both of the images on this plate for stamping; some of the images are sideways, others are upside down, some are on the diagonal even - there are lots of options just using these two images to give a different look on every finger!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

This design even looked cool on my short right hand nails; in fact, I think I like the overall composition of the design placement on this hand better than the left!

What I like the very most about this mani is how quick you can have fantastic looking nails with hardly any effort!  Two coats of polish followed by quick dry, add some cool stamping, a little cleanup followed by quick dry and you can be out the door in no time at all with great looking nails!  (This is the look I go for when I don't have much time to do my nails which is why you may see something along these lines quite often depending on how busy life is lol!) In fact, even with taking 125 pix of this mani for blogging purposes, this mani was 40 minutes start to finish; can't go wrong with that!  The right hand is one coat of Celestial Men of Mayhem and there was still good coverage if you wanted even faster nails!

Infinity plates are available here; international shipping is available.  Celestial Cosmetics are available here; they do ship worldwide; their international stock list is also mentioned on their site.

Fall Leaves

Here's another fall mani; this time, a holo base with skittle leaves.

Started with a base of Celestial Cosmetics Sun Kissed; this is two coats, no topcoat.  A few pix in different lighting.

For stamping, did leaf skittles in assortment of colours with an accent using all the colours with an image from MJ XX and Mundo de Unas stamping polishes in 9 (red), 11 (yellow) 32 (orange), and 48 (green).

Top coated with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

I'm on the fence about this one; I like how the red and orange stamped on top but not so much the green or yellow.  Definitely loving Celestial Sun Kissed, though!  But that's the great thing about if you have a mani that you're not that much into; a little remover and another day and time to try something else out again!
