Smile!

I hope these put a smile to your face!

Started with a base of Color Vibe Feelin' It, three coats, no top coat, over a base of Cupcake White Pop.

Maniology M329

Topped with Pahlish Jaq & Gus, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped with image from Maniology M329 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.  Unfortunately, I didn't stamp the index fully to the end of the nail and I didn't notice until I had finished my nails as this could have been an easy fix with some polish and a brush.  Not visible IRL anyway, but still irked me.

Finished with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Hope you have a great day and remember to smile at least once today...and several times if you're lucky!

Perseid Meteor Showers

I did these nails in anticipation of the Perseid Meteor Showers today into tomorrow early morning hours; however, as I type this post, it is storming with thunder, lightning and rain, with the forecast calling for showers until 5 am, so the chances of seeing them tonight is dwindling.  But at least I can look at the meteor showers on my nails!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a stamper smooshy base of lots of polishes; this was the result.  Polishes used are Zoya Juvia, Penelope Luz Forbidden Love, Penelope Luz Nymphs, Phoenix Klaus, Chance 093, Morgan Taylor Deja Blue, Morgan Taylor Totally Betty and China Glaze Blue Raspberry Ice, no top coat.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped with image from Maniology M535 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, no top coat.  If you check the image on the plate, you will see that I stamped it sideways to mimic the showers.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

This was Ms. Cindy; did two coats of China Glaze Blue Rasperry Ice topped with Ribbits Scary Stories To Tell In the Dark.

Stamped with same image from Maniology M535 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I'm going to check for the meteor showers periodically before I go to bed and if by chance I don't see any, I'm sure there will be lots of images on the web to see from those who were lucky enough to see them!

Neon Floral Nails!

These are one of my way back daisy mani's; this is from February 2020 and to be honest, I'm not sure why I haven't shared it yet.  The colours look like Halloween but I'm sharing them now as I could easily wear these in the heat of the summer!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, topped with Lilypad Lacquer Itty Bitty 4, no top coat.  I remember when these glitters came out; I bought them all.  Promptly wore this one and then none of them have been worn since.  And this was five years ago! I like them, just don't like glitter removal.

Stamped lines with image from Lina Born to Sail 01 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, then added flowers from Lina 4 Seasons-Spring 02 using MdU 80.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Dotted floral centers using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Decided I needed a few more flowers, so added them using same plate and colours on the lines, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Flowers That Aren't Daisies!

I had to really go back through the archives to find a mani that isn't blue or flowers.  Oops, this one has flowers, but not daisies.  I can't help it; I love the daisy mani's!  So enjoy this and be thankful it's not blue or daisies!

Started with a base of Butter London Sing, no top coat.  Such a stunning colour!

Topped with Lollipop Lacquer To San Antonio, with Love (PPU June 2020).  No top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Nicole Diary L23 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Applied Essie Matte about You before I took it off.

Short Nails and Dark Polish Go Together!

I'm not sure why, but when my nails are short, I prefer to wear dark colours on them.  So when my nails are short, most of the time, a dark polish will be on them.

Started with a base of two coats of Dam Polish Aquamarine, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Moyra 39 Eastern Mystic using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stripes!

Some simple stamping over a layered base.

Started with a base of Sally Hansen Insta-dri Jet Setter; two coats, no top coat.

Topped with Fancy Gloss Witchcraft, no top coat.

I was looking for a bit more, so decided to layer Polished for Days Fire Rainbow, one of all time favourite flakies.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from KADS Nature 071 using MdU 91.

Sometimes we just need simple nails.  And simple posts.

Spirals!

I've been trying not to post blue or floral nails and looks like I'm going to fail with that personal challenge!  But I think these have enough colour and interest in the stamped image that I can forgive myself lol!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of OPI Duomo Days, Isola Nights (not shown), then topped with Nvr Enuff Polish Alchemy, no top coat.  I'm not sure what happened to Nv Enuff Polish but they certainly had a lot of pretty polishes and I'm happy to have them in my stash!

Topped with Fancy Gloss Crushed Sapphire, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Did a stamped gradient using MdU 91, Mdu 39 and Painted Polish Blanc Slate, using image from Big SdP A-2.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Just before taking it off, I added a coat of Essie Matte About You and I have to say, I really like how all the flakies pop with matte.  I wish I had have worn it for another day matte, but too much polish and plates and the urge to change my nails!
