Hot Ribbons!

When I sat down to do my nails this night, I knew I wanted to do some simple stamping, but wanted an image that wasn't floral as I had been doing a lot of them lately and when I came across this image, it worked really well with my stamping goals of having a good interest, but allowing the beauty of the base shine through.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Rescue Beauty Lounge Poppy, no top coat.

Added a coat of Polished for Days Seraphine.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Creative Shop 92 using Mdu 53 and 66.

Finished with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Thanks for looking!

Digit-al Dozen Does Holo; Day 5

My final Digit-al Dozen mani for this month's holo challenge!  There was never any doubt in my mind that I couldn't complete the challenge this month; I mean, I wear holo on a pretty regular basis! However, I was trying to post winter/holiday mani's to be seasonal.  Unfortunately life got in the way of me keeping up with my posts so they weren't as timely as I would have wanted.

I did these ugly Christmas sweater nails but I think these are too pretty to be called ugly sweater nails!   Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats each of SuperChic Lacquer Awkward Turtle with accent of Rescue Beauty Lounge No More War.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped with What's Up Nails B026 with accent of What's Up Nails B022 using FunkyFingers Dark Knight.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Here's the other ladies day 5 mani's!

Fall Leaves!

Fall has finally arrived here in Southern Ontario with cooler temperatures and the leaves are now starting to turn colour.  A little!  I have one or two more fall mani's to share even though I think I could do so many more as I'm just loving the mustards and grungy greens right now!  But with Halloween right around the corner, don't have time for more!  Here's what I came up with not too long ago!

Started with a base of two coats of Rescue Beauty Lounge No More War, no topcoat.  I was lucky to snag this in a blog sale as I had missed it when it was released and readily available through RBL.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using MdU 11, 13, 32, 46, 52 and 53 using images from BP L-024 on all fingers, with the words from Delaney Automne 001 on the thumb (that didn't turn out that well, sorry).

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Abi

This mani is way out of my comfort zone as far as mani colours go but interesting enough, it matches one of my favourite sweaters!

Started with a base of two coats of Rescue Beauty Lounge Abi.

Topped with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC before stamping.

Stamped with an image from HK-09 using MoYou Gold Expressionism.  This stamping polish doesn't look like much right now, but man, does it ever come alive with top coat!

HK-09

My plate arrived bent; I messaged the seller on AE about a replacement because it affects that top image but it hasn't arrived yet.

Topped with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC to finish.  Wowweeee!  Look at that sparkle in the stamping polish!  Love the extra umph in this stamping polish!

Hope you're having a fantastic weekend; thanks for looking!

First Time Using RBL

This is Rescue Beauty Lounge Mismas. I only have a few RBL's; whatever I've been fortunate to swap for....which reminds me, I seem to recall that Frazzle and Aniploish has RBL Ann and Locavore offered in a giveaway that I forgot to enter so I need to get over there as soon as I post this and enter! (I just have to decide which one I'm going to tick off in the ballot...and I can't remember if I already have Ann; I meant to check my stash to see which is why I haven't entered already! But I *think* maybe it's RBL Catherine I have, not Ann...or is it Catherine H?....maybe to be safe, I'll enter for Locavore!! Maybe I need to get working on that polish spreadsheet....!)

Two coats of RBL Mismas. This was super shiny even without topcoat. I remember taking these pictures and being freaked out as I could see my image mirrored in my nails....I sure hope the image isn't visible if you click on them as you'll see this gal in her pj's and housecoat pointing the camera!

Anyway, on top of Mismas, I added some glitter using NYX Girls Grand Royale, then a little NYX Bejewelled at very tip edge for a little something different. Experimenting I was. I think there might even be a little NYX Silver Glitter mixed in there too.

Then stamped using Nicole by OPI Give Me the 1st Dance using GCOCL K04.

A bit of housekeeping...blogkeeping as you will...December is always a busy time of year and to top it off, I'm working on a special project. I will be posting regularly and checking out all the awesome mani's in the blogesphere but you will see a little bit of everything posted for the next little while including unposted mani's of the past; I have Christmas mani's already done but not yet posted; have LOTS OF NEW plates on order so you may see those mani's pop up as I get them, probably some new layering manis as I now have received my group order of Lynnderellas...and a few other things mixed in for good measure, I'm sure!! My nail length is going to be all over the place as one post could be a mani from a couple months ago and the next what I'm wearing that day....plus I keep on growing them, cutting them, filing them funny, cutting them...you get the drift!

Thanks for looking! And don't forget to enter Frazzle and Aniploish's giveaway here that ends tomorrow..... but please don't enter for RBL Ann or Locavore to better my chances-joking!!! lol! (decisions, decisions!)
