More Daisies!

Who else is trying to eek out as much summer as they can??  I'm already seeing leaves on the trees turn colour and I don't think fall will be too much longer!  It's too early for me to be wearing fall colours although I do have a few mani's sitting in archives so you might see some fall nails posted soon!  Especially if the weather continues to turn cold and we see leaves falling!  But no fall nails here today; here is a different spin on the daisy nails I've been sharing.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Different Dimension Big Bang with accent nails of Revlon Sassy; all two coats.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped on Revlon Sassy using image from Marianne Nails XXL 1 with Lina 4 Seasons-Spring 02 on the rest using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Used Revlon Sassy for the center of the daisies.

Topped using KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Perfecto!

These nails pretty much sum up everything I love about nails and stamping right now:  awesome nail polish, flakies, cool stamped design, matchy-matchy, dots, and interesting stamped image for interest but still lets the beauty of the base show through!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Painted Polish Twister On the Tides, no top coat.  This is from Polish Pickup August 2019.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Marianne Nails XXL 1 using Hit the Bottle Nay Jones's Locker.  While normally I'd paint nail studs and apply them on the accent nail, I did dots with the same stamping polish just to mix it up a little.  Note:  learn how to do dots better!

Topped with KBShimmer Clealy on Top to finish.

Have a great week and thanks for looking!

Digit-al Dozen Does Inspired by Pinterest; Day 3

Lest We Forget.

Today is Remembrance Day in Canada; it's the day we honour those who fought for our freedoms and those who continue to serve.

For my inspiration, I used the poem, In Flanders Fields, a copy of which I found on Pinterest.

Started with a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls with a gradient of Misa Working Hard or Hardly Working, Barry M Grey and Funky Fingers Dark Knight.  Stamped images from Marianne XXL 1 (index and pinky), Pet'la Floral (ring) and Canadian Nail Fanatic 001 with Fig Tree Stamps (middle) using red Konad special polish and Funky Fingers Dark Knight.

Did a large dot in middle image.  Stamped thumb using Funky Fingers Dark Knight using an image from Chez Halloween 005.

Added more images to thumb using Chez Halloween 005 using MdU 33.

Added a few dots to middle of poppies using the smallest dotter I have with Funky Finger Dark Knight.

Top coated to finish (after lots of time had passed as was really afraid of tc smear on that middle dot!)

Poppies!

I did these nails a couple nights ago; I wanted something pretty simple but colourful; this is what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (no pix as have shown before); top coated with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  Stamped using red Konad special polish using Marianne Nails XXL on all fingers except accent, which is Chez Delaney Floral 008.

I really liked the simplicity of this look but decided to dot the centres. I think I went a little overboard with dots at the tip of the nail on accent!  I think it would have looked cleaner without them there.

Top coated with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

I think this is one of those mani's that probably would have been matter finished in matte but still don't mind how it turned out.

Thanks for looking!

Digit-al Dozen Does Winter Wonderland; Day 3

It's Day 3 of the Digit-al Dozen Winter Wonderland challenge!  Hopefully you've had a chance to check out the other ladies mani's....they have been AH-Mazzzzz-ING!!!!

Here's my Day 3 mani; again, trying to think a little outside of the box so decided to do a winter sport!

(Again, minor editing on ouchie on middle finger on some pix but only editing done!)

Started with a base of Bongo Made About Mind, two coats, no topcoat.

Did sponging with SpaRitual Ebb & Flow and Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure White Out. Love how this turned out; again, could use a base like this for so many mani's!

Topcoated to finish.

Added a variety of image, all from Infinity 75 ** using black Konad special polish and Mundo de Unas 37.

Added skier from Marianne Nails XXL 1 using black Konad special polish.  Had to do some touch ups to the skier and lift to make sure solid.

Top coated to finish.

I went to bed after I finished this, but just before I drifted off, I thought this mani would look good matted and with a few snow flakes added.  So the next morning, did just that using OPI Matte and Konad white special polish for dots!

Did some touch up to the trees on the index and the skier and top coated to finish.  (I decided I like it matte better which is the first pix but didn't share again as there are enough pix in this post!)

A closer look at the plates; this is Infinity 75.  A perfect plate if you are looking for some winter imagery!

Marianne XXL 1 (there are a lot of pix as this is the big XXL size!)

I so wish there were more images of skiers, swimmers, skaters, etc. etc.!!

(I oh so want to do a mani with that Eskimo, I just haven't done it yet...plus trying to see if I have an igloo image!)

Here's the other ladies Day 3 mani's!
