Halloween Flowers!

If you've seen the daisy nails that I seem to do so often, I had planned to do a mani similar to those; however, when I got down to it, the nails went in a different direction and this is how they ended up.  The Halloween daisy mani I envisioned will have to wait for another day!  Here's what I came up with.

Started with a base of skittles; thumb and going clockwise, polishes are Holo Taco Not Pressed, topped with Fancy Gloss Natures Cove, OPI Black Onyx, OPI Summer Lovin' Having A Blast, OPI I Manicure for Beads and OPI Black Onyx again.

Topped the black accent nails with Fancy Gloss Halloween Party.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Moyra 126 Witchcraft

After making a stamper decal with image from Lina Spooklicious! 03, stamped them onto middle and index fingers, then added pumpkins using image from UberChic UC Halloween 05 with faces from UC Halloween 03 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief and MdU 11.  I also shrunk the image using resizing stamper for the pumpkin on the index finger.  Added spider on thumb from image from Moyra 126 Witchcraft using MdU 107 and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Added a few shadow stamped images using images from Moyra 126 Witchcraft using MdU 11, 52 and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Trick or Treat!

Trick or Treat!  Tonight is when all the ghosts and goblins are out trick or treating!  Or some; I guess we'll have to see how many actually go out this year.  I've bought for the same number as in preCovid days but will have to see how much I have left over.  

Started with a base of Painted Polish Mystery Crelly Douze with accent nails of OPI Black Onyx and OPI Orange You Stylish.

Stamped using images from Bunny Nails HD-G (pinky), Sugar Bubbles SB037 (middle; had to shrink the images, then transfer to a clear stamper then shadow stamp it; didn't too badly as it was a bit of work to do this!), Delaney Halloween A001 (thumb), Clear Jelly Stamper CjS H-37 (thumb), UberChic UC Halloween 05 (ring) and Lina Spooklicious! 02 (index) using MdU 107, Painted Polish Stamped in Starfruit and Midnight Mischief.

I spent some time ago last weekend pulling some polishes that lend themselves to Halloween nails so that when I had time to sit down and do my nails, they were already at hand (as were Halloween plates as I pulled them and fall plates quite some time ago).  I'm not quite sure why I keep on buying polishes that lend themselves to Halloween manis when I discovered I have quite a few polishes already that lend themselves to Halloween manis.  So I thought I'd try to use quite a few of them in this mani because it might be some time before they get used again!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of skittles, polishes used starting at thumb and going clockwise:  Nine Zero Jack-O-Lantern Juice (3 coats), China Glaze Ick-A-Body (3), OPI Summer Lovin' Having A Blast (2), Cadillacquer White Knight (3) and Colors by Llarowe Sweet Nectar (Hypnotic Polish Excl) (3).  Case in point; I've had Ick-A-Body for I don't know how many years but have never wore it.  I don't know why I don't wear some of these polishes I have; it's like I collect them more than I wear them!

Stamped using images from UberChic Halloween-05 (middle and thumb) and MoYou Festive 16 (index, ring and pinky) using Painted Polish Stamped in Clay, MdU 11 and 52.

Shadow stamped on some of the nails using same images with Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.  Also added bats to the thumb using image from UC Halloween-05.  My shadow stamping wasn't as tight as I would have like but what can you do lol.

Added spider (didn't make note of which plates, sorry) on index, then finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.
