Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  

These were the first nails I did for the occasion and my favourite this year.  I also did two other mani's for St. Patrick's Day based upon the polishes I used here; I liked them so much that they needed mani's of their own!  Here's what I came up with!

Polishes used starting at thumb and going clockwise; OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (2 coats), Anchor & Heart Dream Stone (2 coats), Daily Hues What Band is Next? (3 coats), OPI Envy The Adventure (2 coats) and Native War Paints Zombie Unicorns Love Brains (3), no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using images from UberChic UC mini: St. Patrick's Day (thumb, index and pinky), and Messy Mansion MM04 (middle) using MdU 1 and 37.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped ring finger using UC mini: St. Patrick's Day using Moyra Black Gel stamping polish, then rubbed gold loose powder on it and then dusted off any excess.

Stamped coins from image MoYou Festive 21 using same Moyra gel stamping polish and again rubbed on loose gold powder, rubbed it in etc.  Topped that nail with Shine Topcoat by SOPHi.

Another St. Patrick's Day Nails

I have so many St. Patrick's Day mani's done but because tomorrow is the start of Digit-al Dozen week, I fear I may not get them all posted.  So I had better get my butt in gear and start posting!  I guess there's always next year...believe it or not, I already have a couple Valentine's Day posts done and scheduled for next year as I didn't get them all posted; I foresee the same for St. Pat's!.  Anyway, hopefully I be able to share most of them.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Native War Paints Zombie Unicorns Love Brains, no top coat.

Stamped using MdU 37 using UC Uber Mini: St. Patrick's Day.

Top coated with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped accent nail using same plate and same stamping polish.  Added a couple single shamrocks on top as well.  I wasn't sure how well the words would show up which is why I top coated the rest of the nails before hand in case that was how I was going to share the mani but the words did end up stamping OK.

Still Sharing Fall Mani's!

Sorry for the brief hiatus but life has gotten in the way of doing blog posts!  Unfortunately, I didn't get many Halloween mani's posted but man, did I do a lot of fall mani's!  This is another fall themed one and I have a few more to post; it's a good thing winter hasn't arrived here yet which still gives me time to still post fall nails!  Here's one I recently came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Moon Shine Mani Southern Belle, no top coat.

Topped with a coat of Native War Paints Special Effects Gold Coast, Polish Con 2016.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using an image from Moyra 55-Fall using MdU 9, 13, 106 and Painted Polish Stamped in Moss.

These are the polishes used along with the image.

Decided to add a matte top coat so added one coat of My Indie Polish My Perfect Matte.

Digit-al Dozen Does Paper; Day 3

I'm seriously behind in getting my posts up but do want to finish them, so this is my day 3 paper challenge mani....paper Chinese lanterns!

Started with a base of three thin coats of Native War Paints Sun Bathing on Lake Ontario, which is an Indie Expo Canada VIP LE.  This is the first time I've worn Native War Paints polish even though I do own a few others and I really it!  I liked the formula...its a little on the thinner side but I actually find it better for cleanup!  

Top coated with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC.

I made stamper decals using images from Sugar Bubbles SB 043 using polish and acrylic paints.  Also did some double stamping on the index finger using another image on the plate.

Added some dots to mimic cherry blossoms on a few of the fingers.

Topped with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC to finish.

Decided to matte coat it which actually brought out the pink shimmer in the base a little bit more which was a nice addition, I think.
