Digit-al Dozen Does Stamping; Day 2

I wore these a couple weekends ago; a bright pick me up to a dreary day!  A radial gradient for day 2 of Digit-al Dozen stamping week.

I initially was going to water marble so picked out some Pipe Dream polishes to use.  THEN I remembered I have absolutely no water marble skills so decided on a radial gradient base instead.  Used Pipe Dream Polish Light of Day, Happy Hour and All In.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using an image from Infinity 015 using FunkyFingers Gesso.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year's Eve!  All the best in 2015 to you!  I only did one mani for New Year's and these are what I'll be wearing as I ring in the New Year tonight!

For the base, I wanted something with just a slight holo and my first thought was the LA Girl 3D Effects; I settled upon 3D Silver...which has way more holo than I anticipated making it hard to capture the stamping well!  But a good choice for New Year's eve, I think!

This is 4 coats, no topcoat (as I'm not  fan of VNL on me).

See the holo here best!

Stamped using black Konad special polish using Infinity 76 (ring), Handy n.5 (all the fireworks) and Sugar Bubbles SBS 09 (middle and thumb).

This is my right hand; slightly different and only two cots of base which actually was enough I think!

Top coated.

After the mani was finished, coated with OPI matte which realllyyyy killed the holo but you can see the stamping better.

Not for me so top coated again.

Have a wonderful New Year's!  I hope you are doing something much more exciting than my night, which is typing this post while watching tv!  I'm sure midnight will hit as it always does; me watching the countdown with the hubs snoring on the couch!  Have a fabulous night....and all the best in 2015!

Thanks for looking!

P.S:  9:17 pm and hubs is already snoring lol!

Digit-al Dozen Does Winter Wonderland; Day 5

It's Day 5 of Digit-al Dozen Winter Wonderland challenge!  I know I already said this before, but the ladies have been nailing this weeks theme; truly some amazing mani's been shared this week!  Hopefully you've had a chance to check them out!

This is my Day 5 mani; a vintage winter evening ride home to the homestead! (Not sure if this is how is looks but that was the intention!)

Started with a base of two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, topped with one coat of Contrary Polish Frozen.

Taking a cue from my fellow Digit-al Dozen member Sassy Shelly, who did a gray gradient here that I absolutely adored, decided to sponge on Glam Polish Lisbeth.

I have no idea what that dot was on my finger (probably in the sponge) but it annoyed me greatly, so picked it out as best as I could, then top coated with KBShimmer Clearly on top to finish.  This is yet another base that I would see so much use for stamping on top; I'm sure it will make an appearance at some point over the winter!

For the scenery, I first added the horse and carriage from WM59 using Konad black special polish and Mundo de Unas 23.  Then added the house from Infinity 13 using black Konad special polish.  Next, stamped the trees on the ring and pinky using Infinity 75 using black Konad special polish and Mundo de Unas 7.  Some of the path on the ring finger, I brushed in to make solid.  Lastly, using MoYou Mother Nature Collection-09, stamped in the barn and weather vane using black Konad special polish and Mundo de Unas 09.  I did the image shrinking technique and even then, barely got them to fit.  And yes, the sideway stamping was intentional; when I planned this in my head, the look was suppose to be as if the carriage was going along the path, heading home and the barn in farms is usually behing the house (if only my thumb could turn sideways and be higher up like I've seen other bloggers do!) but it was the best I could do.  Added the moon on middle finger using Infinity 75 using CND Silver Chrome, then high lighted with brush and white Konad special polish.

MW59.

Added a wreath over the front door, hand painted in more path on the middle finger and dabbed Mundo de Unas 48 here and here on trees for interest. Touched up the barn better, etc.

Top coated to finish.

Like so many other mani's this week, decided to matte it, mainly so imagery could be seen better.

In hindsight to make this a little bit more wintery, I should have added in some falling snow and maybe put some snow on the trees, etc. and maybe could have down with a darker backdrop, but none the less, I was pleased how this turned out! I particularly like the snowy look on the roof of the house.

Hopefully you have enjoyed this weeks challenge mani's!  I had a lot of fun doing them!

Thanks for looking!  Now onto more seasonal and holiday themed mani's..............they will be coming!

Digit-al Dozen Does Winter Wonderland; Day 3

It's Day 3 of the Digit-al Dozen Winter Wonderland challenge!  Hopefully you've had a chance to check out the other ladies mani's....they have been AH-Mazzzzz-ING!!!!

Here's my Day 3 mani; again, trying to think a little outside of the box so decided to do a winter sport!

(Again, minor editing on ouchie on middle finger on some pix but only editing done!)

Started with a base of Bongo Made About Mind, two coats, no topcoat.

Did sponging with SpaRitual Ebb & Flow and Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure White Out. Love how this turned out; again, could use a base like this for so many mani's!

Topcoated to finish.

Added a variety of image, all from Infinity 75 ** using black Konad special polish and Mundo de Unas 37.

Added skier from Marianne Nails XXL 1 using black Konad special polish.  Had to do some touch ups to the skier and lift to make sure solid.

Top coated to finish.

I went to bed after I finished this, but just before I drifted off, I thought this mani would look good matted and with a few snow flakes added.  So the next morning, did just that using OPI Matte and Konad white special polish for dots!

Did some touch up to the trees on the index and the skier and top coated to finish.  (I decided I like it matte better which is the first pix but didn't share again as there are enough pix in this post!)

A closer look at the plates; this is Infinity 75.  A perfect plate if you are looking for some winter imagery!

Marianne XXL 1 (there are a lot of pix as this is the big XXL size!)

I so wish there were more images of skiers, swimmers, skaters, etc. etc.!!

(I oh so want to do a mani with that Eskimo, I just haven't done it yet...plus trying to see if I have an igloo image!)

Here's the other ladies Day 3 mani's!
