Spring on Nails!

My nails are still recovering so I don't have any Easter nails to share this year, plus I won't be home for Easter this year anyway, but I thought these nails are the epitome of Spring so am sharing them now.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Morgan Taylor Got Carried Away and Powers of Persussion, no top coat.

Topped with a think coat of Glam Polish Blues Dressed Up Like Rock n Roll, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Sugar Bubbles 111

Stamped with an image from SugarBubbles SB 111 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Daisies!

Another Spring mani using my go to combo of plaid and daisies!

EYNails n. 7

Started with a base of two coats of Morgan Taylor Totally Betty, no top coat.

Topped accent nails with MJ Lacquer Save Our Island Island Maui Strong (HHC 9/23), no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped plaid using EYNails n. 7 using Painted Polish Stamped in Cinderelly, with accent nails of KADS Flower 066 using PaintedPolish Blanc Slate, no top coat.

Added floral centers using Painted Polish Stamped in Starfruit.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I Bought This Stamping Plate For This Specific Image

I bought this MoYou London stamping plate specifically for this image as I thought it was one of those interesting images that allows the beauty of the base shine through.  And it does exactly this when I used it first in this mani; here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Sizzlin Shades Supernova, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped with image from MoYou London Tom & Jerry-05 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Beachy Blues

I did these nails in the heat of summer last year and I think they are perfect summer nails.  I think they need to be repeated!

Started with a base of two coats of Morgan Taylor Take Me To Your Tribe, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  I always top my basecoat with quick dry and let it dry about 5 minutes before doing any sponge gradients as I find it doesn't lift the polish during the sponge process.

Did a sponged gradient using Morgan Taylor Take Me To Your Tribe, BKind Sauble Beach and Quo Stormy Night.  Interesting fact; I was about 5 km from Sauble Beach when I did these nails!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped with an image from UberChic UC 28-03 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, no top coat.

Finished with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Simple and Sweet!

 

This is a simple mani that is everything I love about nail stamping; an interesting image that shows the beauty of the polish underneath.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of three coats of Potion Polish Autumn Drive, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using an image from Creative Shop 75 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, no top coat.

You Are Getting Sleepy, Very Sleepy!

These nails are mesmerizing!  They are also the second oldest nails on my camera roll that haven't been shared yet, dating back to June 28, 2018!  Wow!  I know they are older nails as I don't do this pose any more.  I don't remember consciously deciding to change it, I just know over time it has changed.  I won't say evolved as that implies that it's better and I can't say that is the case lol!  Although I suppose this pose is better for the new rectangle images on IG now!

Started with a base of two coats of Different Dimension Kiss Me Under The Light of a Thousand Stars, no top coat.  It's no secret this is one of my favourite polishes.  I have several backups and use it often when I just can't pick which polish to use!

Stamped using an image from Apipila Super Placa M using Funky Fingers Dark Knight, no top coat.  (This might be Pueen 59; not sure though.)

I have around 300 manis in draft and probably the same number still to upload from my camera; however, it is getting harder and harder to post manis that aren't blue or daisies lol, and I do try to change things up when I'm not sharing holiday or themed nails.  I haven't been regularly doing my nails the last two or so years since my nail issues started so a lot of what is being posted is from the archives.  So I hope you enjoy the shared ones, even though I may be sharing a string of blue or daisy ones!

Timeless!

Cobalt blue and white never go out of style, IMHO, and these are a good reason why I feel this way!  The white just pops against this awesome shade of blue!  Here's what I came up with!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Lina License to be Sexy 01! using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer.
