Started with a base of two coats of Glam Polish King Cry-Baby with an accent of Glam Polish I Really Do Love That Hat, shown with no top coat. I used a coat of Dance Legend Peel Off Base and let it dry first as I hadn't tried it yet and thought these very glittery polishes would be a good test of how it worked!
Added a coat of Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC before stamping.
I could not for the life of me get a clear stamper to work with the image I had picked out which was from Marianne Nails n.02. I am only thankful that I was able to place the images decently as I'm about ready to throw out every clear stamper I own! Used FunkyFingers Dark Knight. They aren't 100% but not bad considering; however, not all the lines were straight on the thumb.
This is Cindy; I even placed the images Ok on this hand! This never happens!
Top coated everything off with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC to finish.
I wore these nails for three days and am happy to report that even after soaking in the hot tub, I didn't have any premature polish pop offs as I've found in the past with these peel off bases. The peel off wasn't one continuous pop though and did take a bit of effort to get off all the polish; even then, I had to use acetone and cotton for some stubborn bits. I will try two coats next time and see if removal, or premature pop off, happens! I'm still looking for the perfect balance in these peel off bases; some are too hard to remove; some have nails pop off too early. Hopefully I'll find the right fit!
Thanks for looking!
Hi this Mani is gorgeous. I use miss sporty peel off base but also the pva glue and water method these work great for me but not sure if u get miss sporty where u are, also I use sally Hansen insta gel on top of that so I don't get any staining when I add polish on top of that. Also insta gel on top will make the whole thing come off easier although Mani usually lasts me 2 days. :0) x
