Winter Vibes!

After a big storm system that hit most of Ontario shortly after Christmas, we had a stretch of rain and warmer weather and it all melted.  A couple days ago, we had some snow again and the temperatures have lowered, so it makes it more appropriate to share a few more snowflake and sweater nails so here's a snowflake mani that has those black flecks I love so much!

Started with a base of  two coats of Sally Hansen Violet Voltage, no top coat.

Topped with Polished for Days Most Everyone's Mad Here, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using UberChic UC Christmas-01 on all nails, except accent, which is UberChic UC Merry & Bright (word) and UberChic UC Jingle All the Way (snowflakes), using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Flowers!

I love these polishes with black flakies in them but it is hard for me to decide what to stamp on them.  I did these nails that I think turned out pretty cool but not sure if they are the best use of the base as it sure made them busy!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Polished For Days Bel-Air on a base of Polished for Day white soft focus.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from UberChic UC 27-01 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief and Painted Polish Stamped in Greenery.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

I did Ms. Cindy using the same colours and plate but slightly different.  I like how these turned out too although my double stamping wasn't that good lol!

This is another go to image when I don't have a lot of time to do my nails but want to still change my polish!

Started with a base of two coats of Different Dimension Karma, no top coat.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Marianne Nails n.43 using MdU 93, 139 and Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Swirls!

These simple nails feature a few things I like about doing my nails:  great image that lets the beauty of the base show through; layering polishes for a more interesting look; the sparkle of holo and that colour; wow!

Started with a base of Color Club Click Bait, no top coat.

Topped with Pahlish Moon Rock Dust, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Apipila P24 using MdU 68.

Finished with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Bright Marble!

 I have a bunch of snowflake and ugly sweater nails to share but there's no snow and it's been pretty mild here lately so they will have to wait for a bit.  So enjoy these bright marble looking nails instead!

Started with a base of Pretty Serious Shingding, then topped with KBShimmer He Slimed Me!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Moyra 27 Dreamology.

Did some shadow stamping with same plate using CND Gold Chrome, then topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Flakies always look good with a matte top coat, so I also added Essie Matte about you.  

Which version do you like better?  Matte or glossy?
