Snoop Dogg's Olympic Pin!

I can't say that I can even know a Snoop Dogg song, but what I do know is how much I've really enjoyed seeing supporting the Olympians not to mention that he seems to be having the time of his life at the Olympics!  He has truly been a great USA Ambassador and to me, set a different tone for the Olympics. I came across a few posts on IG that he had his own Olympic trading pin and decided to do nails inspired by them.  One thing that was really great was to use some plates and images that I may never have used otherwise, so was happy with that!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of three coats of Essie Rock the Boat with accent nail of Morgan Taylor Ugh, As If.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using MoYou Roxy Collection-07 (thumb), MdU Collection 28 (index), and Manitude Basics X Blobs using MdU 4, 9, 11, 80 (custom mix with a dark green polish) and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Added images on thumb using Moyra 108 - Champion and MouTeen-150 using MdU 4 and 80.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

If you haven't seen the Snoop Dogg Olympic trading pin, here it is, taken from @snoopdogg
IG account.

A close up of the pin.

Can I also say how cool it is that he has his own pin?!?!  I seen that Simone Biles has one too; so fabulous!  I don't recall seeing that either, but maybe I'm just not that familiar with the Olympics goings on lol.

2024 Olympics!

I've been watching quite a bit of the Olympics since they opened and got inspiration to do a few Olympic manis and have a few to share over the next few posts, including this one.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls with accent nail of OPI Summer Monday-Fridays, no top coat.

Topped the white nails with Fancy Gloss Witchcraft, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image BM-XL182 Work It! on index, middle and ring, using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief and Hit The Bottle Gold as it Gets, Barry M 319 Foil Effects and Hit the Bottle Burnt Orange, then stamped pinky with Moyra 108 Champion using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief and CjS281 and Moyra 108 Champion on thumb using same Painted Polish.

Clear Jelly Stamper CjS 281

BundleMonster BM-XL182 Work It!

Moyra 108 - Champion

Added dots on the thumb using same polishes that were used for the medals for some interest.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

A couple of the stars weren't the best on the medals but I had to double stamp them as the polish didn't show up that well but overall, not that bad!

Fruit Skittles

One of the good things about waiting for my nails to heal is that I get to share all these mani's that I've had in drafts for so long.  Including this one from February 2020. Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Girly Bits skittles; polishes used from thumb and going clockwise:  Brick House, The Hustle, Funky Town, Jive Talkin' and All The Jingle Ladies, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Delany Fruits 001 (middle and ring) and UberChic UC 9-01 on the rest, using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Zig Zags

Hard to believe that these nails were done almost three years ago.  Too many mani's; not enough time.

Started with a base of two coats of Ginger & Liz Chase Me, no top coat.  Such a perfect shade; too bad about the boo boo.  While I can't quite remember, I probably got it with cuticle nippers just before doin these nails.  Shame.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Creative Shop 101 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Swirls

Oh look!  Another another layered mani!  Big surprise unless you're new to the blog!  Here's what I came up with!

OPI Keeping Suzy At Bay, two coats, no top coat.

Topped with Lemming Lacquer I Blow Bubbles When You Are Not Near; one coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Emily de Molly EdM 06 using CjS stamping polish 080.

After topping with Girly Bits Glitter Glaze, topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Funny note:  I was a little bit aggressive with top coat, with a little bit too much on the index finger lol which gave that nail a bit of an odd shape!

It was just a tad thick!

Purple Skittles

One of my favourite nail things to do is to put a topper or layer polishes and this is a good example why as it really elevates some creme polishes.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of purple skittles; polishes used are Color Club Lily in Paris (thumb), Morgan Taylor Powers of Persuasion (pinky and index) and Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Knowledge is Flower (middle and ring).  Two coats, no top coat.

Topped with Polished for Days Rainbow of Imagination.

Weird lighting but shows the topper well!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Delaney Floral A002 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Another weird angle and lighting but shows topper well.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.
