Pahlish Pianos Filled With Flames

This is a mani that I had done for Valentine's but didn't get around to posting it...but I think it is one of those mani's you can wear any time of the year.

Started with a base of two coats of Pahlish Pianos Filled with Flames, topped with SV.

Slightly different lighting; was trying to get a good pix to show off the the holographic glitter!

Bottle shot.

I wanted to add stamping that would allow the beautify base polish to be visible so decided upon an image on Apipila 01 using white Konad special polish. (I really want to say....using white Konad special pahlish!)

Topped with SV.

I have to thank Shannon for this bottle; I had placed an order of Pahlishes, but Piano Filled with Flames wasn't on the order (I'm embarrassed to say!).  Then I seen one of my nail pals post a Christmas mani on FB Adventures in Stamping using it as a base and it was awesome!  As soon as I seen it, I was regretting I hadn't ordered it so I emailed Shannon right away and asked if she could please add Piano Filled with Flames to my order if she had not yet shipped.  I was in luck as Shannon had not yet shipped...AND she was good enough to gift it...which was a fantastic surprise and greatly appreciated!  Thanks too Lisa, for showing your mani in the first place using this beautiful polish...ahem, pahlish!

Pahlish is sold via Etsy and llarowe.....there is a new collex, Coney Island Queen, being released for sale on Etsy tonight....please check out Pahlish FB for more information!

Thanks for looking!

Big Bang Theory aka Nerd Nails

This weeks FB Adventure's in Stamping challenge was I'm a nerd and proud of it...show your nerdy nails....this is what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of China Glaze Happy Go Lucky and Duri Taming of the Shrew; topped with SV.

Stamped using black Konad special polish using MJ V (middle finger and words on index), MJ IV (thumb); the rest of the images are from LLC 8.

To create the haze on the thumb, sponged on CND Midnight Sapphire, then OPI Plugged in Plum, then lastly dabbed some OPI DS Royal here and there.

Added random dots using red, black and yellow Konad special polishes.

Topped with SV.

Hope you had a fantastic weekend...thanks for looking!

OPI Pink Me I'm Good

Another archived mani using a polish I lemmed for so, so long...but have only ever wore once...this time!

Started with a base of three coats of OPI Pink Me I'm Good, then topped with SV.  Three coats and you can still see the hint of VNL.  I do remember one disappointing feature of this beautiful polish; the formula wasn't the greatest; I remember it was thick and goopy for lack of a better word.  I have a backup bottle and remember checking it at the time (as the bottle I was using had been received in a swap and wondered if maybe it was off, but the back up had the same formula).

Stamped using white Konad special polish using XL 35.

Added accent dots using FUN stamping polish in Avocado Green.

Topped with SV.

To be honest, I can't remember what this pix is but it seems I took it a few days after based upon the polish grow out on the middle finger compared to pix above!  I *think* this is when it was matted...but could be wrong!  I guess the lesson learned is to post the mani when you do them...or take better notes!  These pix are over six months old now!

Thanks for looking!

Vampy Crow

This is a post I've had in drafts for a while; I had picked up the Barielle VintageWines collex from Winners in the fall.  One of the colours that caught my eye was Remember Me, even though typically I'm not into these dark, vampy colours.  This is what I came up with!

Started with a base of three coats of Barielle Remember Me.  Two coats probably would have been good IRL or if I wasn't taking pix to share.

Added a coat of CrowsToes Morticia.  Topped with SV.

As there were several layers of polishes, base coats and topcoats here (7 at least), I waited about half an hour before stamping to make sure it was good and dry.

Stamped using Big SdP R using Barry M gold foil.

Topped with SV.

This was one of those mani's that was way more cooler IRL than the pix depicts; I just wasn't able to capture it that well!

Neon Mani

This weeks FB Adventure's in Stamping challenge was doing a mani using neon polish(es); this is what I came up with!

I decided I wanted to go with the most neon polish in my stash; I'm not 100% this is it but it certainly looked on the bright side! Started with a base of two coats of Orly Glowstick over one coat of OPI Bride's Bouquet, topped with SV.

Stamped using an assortment of images from Apipila P.01 and P.02 using black Konad special polish.

Topped with SV.

These are images of the two plates.

I haven't been terribly happy how the last few posts pix have turned out as they look all distorted on the blog even when they seem OK on PB; I've been uploading using photo bucket since blogger wouldn't let me upload anymore as I had reached my maximum capacity, so low and behold, I tried using blogger upload today and now its working!  I don't understand why or when it got fixed, so I guess I'll see how long this goes or back to distorted PB or look for something different!

Digit-al Dozen, Love and Heartbreak, Day 5

Here's the lone mani I did for this weeks theme that had heartbreak as part of it.

 photo Picture298_zpsba708d6d.jpg

Started with a base of two coats of Sinful Colors Cool Gray, topped with SV.

 photo Picture279_zpsecf3b1cf.jpg

Stamped using red and black Konad special polishes using Mash-31 (pinky), SdP D-07 (middle), SdP 85 (you and me on index), and HD-A (wording on thumb and heart on ring ringer).

 photo Picture280_zps2b166bc5.jpg

Added a few more images using VL003 (cross out circle on index), HD-A (separated heart on index; I stamped one half then the other as I was concerned it would be too large to fit the area), T23 (heart on thumb) and E01 (black roses on index).

 photo Picture292_zpsbe8af45f.jpg

Topped with SV.

 photo Picture325_zps3af3ad27.jpg

Hope you had a fantastic Valanetine's Day....and I hope you didn't have any heartbreak....because unforrtunatey Love Sucks sometimes.

Digit-al Dozen, Love and Heartbreak, Day 4

Happy Valentine's Day!  Well, belated by the time I get around to finishing this post!  I still have so many Valentine's Day mani's to share I thought I do something a little different and post a couple today!

 photo Picture658_zps8d08569d.jpg photo Picture615_zpsc15dda55.jpg

Here's the first one.

 photo Picture615_zpsc15dda55.jpg

Started with a base of one coat of OPI Red My Fortune Cookie and OPI Bride's Bouquet.

 photo Picture573_zpsd975067f.jpg

Added a layer of Lynnderella Ruby Red Ruby and Lynnderella The Snow Cake; topped with Gelous and then SV.

 photo Picture579_zps5c665683.jpg

Stamped with HD-A using Konad red and white special polish.

 photo Picture602_zps7b50c6cd.jpg

Here's a pix of the HD plates** which were designed by Bunny Nails and are available here.  There are some really unique designs and any of the images I stamped, including a few that aren't on this mani, stamped wonderfully!  These two plates are full of themes and you'll want to check them out if you are a theme/holiday kinda stamper like me!

 photo Picture599_zps62e3a1d6.jpg

  photo Picture597_zps61f72e77.jpg

Topped with SV.  My only regret with this mani is that the The Snow Cake wasn't whiter; had I realized that it seemed so offwhiteish before hand, I would have picked another white glitter.

 photo Picture615_zpsc15dda55.jpg

Another one I did quick one night when I wanted a change of nails but didn't have much time!

 photo Picture632_zps2b7c1195.jpg

Started with one coat of Color Club Harp On It (yes....one coat!), no TC.

 photo Picture629_zps7b6c03ec.jpg

It dries fairly fast so stamped a couple minutes later with red Konad special polish using MJ II and accent of DRK A.

 photo Picture654_zps51f384a8.jpg

Yes, the alternating upside down hearts was on purpose...just for something different to change it up a bit!  I think this would be cool with the same images but with black stamping polish...another day perhaps!

 photo Picture658_zps8d08569d.jpg

Topped with Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Topcoat.  I used this as I had read that it doesn't dull the holo and have had good results before, but there was a noticeable difference in the holo flash once it was applied this time.  There still was lots of holo though because the polish is so holo-riffic!

 photo Picture647_zps6ef5ba99.jpg

I still have lots of Valentine's Day related mani's to post...I'm not sure if there is any interest in getting them posted now that the day has passed.....I may post them over the new few posts...or they may just show up randomly at a later time, not sure yet!

Thanks for looking!
