More Waves!

 I got sooooo many compliments on these nails!  They were bright and sparkly and very eye catching and one Saturday afternoon when I was out shopping, so many people complimented them!

Clear Jelly Stamper CjS 198.

Started with two coats of BKind Sauble Beach, no top coat.  Fun fact, I was just a short distance from Sauble Beach, Ontario when I did these!  I love this shade of blue and was lucky to find this at Winners one day.  I went back and bought a back up bottle as well and have used it a few times already.

Topped with Pahlish ? Mystery Polish, no top coat.  The layering of these two polishes created a really stunning base polish!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

This base colour really made me think of water so I decided to use an image from CjS-198 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Waves

This is one of my favourite images and one I use often when I can't decide what to put on my nails.  

Started with a base of two coats of Morgan Taylor Powers of Persuaion, topped with Polished for Days Just Keep Swimming.  Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Marianne Nails n. 53 using a blended gradient of Painted Polish Blanc Slate, Stamped in Taro and Moyra SP 19.  Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  

I didn't plan on sharing this mani when I started out so didn't take pictures as I went along like I typically do, but liked how it turned out so decided to share anyway.  This picture shows why I didn't plan on sharing; my thumb nail was just growing out and while I was doing my nails somewhat, I wasn't taking pictures to share, just doing them for me.

Flamingos!

I seen flamingos in the wild on holiday travels recently and funny...they are not hot pink like we so often portray, especially when doing our nails.  Or maybe it's just me that always does hot pink with flamingos.  Like I did here; here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Quo Beauty Hot Stuff, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top. 

Stamped using MrFox-LC012 (thumb), Moyra 66-Exotique (middle and ring) and B. Loves B.11 Summer Paradise (pinky and index) using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Abstract Florals

 I don't do abstract nails that often and was really late to this trend (that I think is now pretty much over as I don't see them posted much) but it's a good thing I don't follow trends and do pretty much whatever I want on my nails when I want anyway, including these nails.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of El Corazon N881, two coats, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Lesly 3 using Painted Polish Deux 2.0.

Added flowers using PY-J053 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Added a few random dots using Painted Polish Stamped in Taro.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Happy Birthday!

Today was my birthday and these were the nails that I wore all day!

Started with a stamper smoosh base using Pahlish ?, Sally Hansen Hard Drive Me Crazy, Essie All Fund & Games and Cupcake Polish White Pop.  

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  

Did a bunch of stamper decals using images from Sugar Bubbles SBS 28 (thumb, pinky, index), Maniology M458 (ring) and UC mini:  Happy Birthday (middle).  Did the outlined in Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, then used a whole lot of colours for the decals:  MdU 11, 65, 91, Different Dimension Kiss Me Under The Light of a Thousand Stars, Quo Sweep Lollipop, Quo Periwinkle Pop, and Sally Hansen Dockside Dreaming.  I didn't plan it very well in advance or I wouldn't have used so much green in the decals.  Also, all the effort in the smooshy stamper base and decals cover most of it.  I could have done an easy coat of a creme polish!  I like how the base looked; maybe for another mani some day.

Summer Brights!

 I've been sharing quite a few mani's that I've had in drafts for a while.  The nails being shared today are relatively current and the first I had stamped in a few months as I was waiting for one of my damaged nails to grow out and here is is just barely long enough to polish.  I was pretty happy how they turned out; here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Orly Put the Top Down, no top coat.  I loved how bright and vibrant this colour was!  Perfect colour for summer nails!

Topped accent nails with China Glaze Point Me to the Party, no top coat.

Topped with KShimmer Clearly on Top.

Did layered stamping using UberChic UC Let's Get Lost using MdU 107 and Painted Polish Blanc Slate, no top coat.  I can't believe how well I did this layered stamping, especially considering I didn't have the best lighting.  Maybe that was the trick lol!

Finished these fun summer nails with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.
