Tim Hortons 2016 #WarmWishes Mani

Ever holiday season, I look forward to the seasonal cups that Tim Horton releases for their beverages. This year didn't disappoint and I've had at least one of every size over the last few weeks during my near daily trips for my morning triple-triple or sometimes a smaller regular later in the day.  So decided to do a mani based on the four different designs this year; snowman is  small, nutcracker is a medium, snowman is a large and reindeer is an extra-large.  This is what I came up with!

Started with with a base of CND Creative Play You've Got Kale, L'Oreal Plaid Please, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and China Glaze Desert Sun. All are two coats, no top coat.

Added  coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the thumb; I ultimately decided to sponge on all the colours and hoped they turned out decently as they aren't really colours that I would pick to go together.

For the sweater design, used an image from Bunny Nails HD-F using CND Green Scene over the CND and the rest are custom blends using a combination of polishes and/or MdU stamping polishes.

Topped everything off with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I made a few stamper decals using UberChic UC Christmas-01, for snowman, Born Pretty BP-11 for collar, MJ VII for reindeer and CICI & SISI 30 for moustache on nutcracker.

Applied the stamper decals as shown below.  Whatever else shown is freehand with brush and acrylic paints or polishes.

Topped everything off with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

For the thumb, added words from same Bunny Nails plate, accenting with holly from EJB-03 which I have used time and time again this year!  They just seem to be the perfect holly and in a great size for my nails!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

The next morning, I decided to add a coat of Girly Bits Polish Matte'rs to be more in line with the finish of the cups.

Let It Snow!

I feel with Christmas just a few short days away, I should be sharing Christmas nails, but nope, here I am sharing more snow mani's!  I guess all the white stuff we've been having has gotten to me!

Started with a base of two coats of Glam Polish It's Now or Never; shown with no top coat.

Did a sponged gradient using these Glam's:  It's Now OR Never, Someday My Prince Will Come and Remember The Monsters?

Did a coat of KBShimmer before stamping.  Not the best pix as there is a whole lot of glitter and sparkle here but it was very cool IRL!

I made a stamper decal using MoYou Festive Collection 46.  I thought I would show the polish placement for the stamping.  The image wasn't that well thought out to me; if you wanted a black outline for the snowman, that means all the snowflakes dots are black!  Who wants that??  If you stamp in white to have white snowflake dots, then no outline for the snowman!  This was my attempt to correct the plate deficiency! Even with this, I had a couple black snowflake dots, I just removed them on the stamper and put in with a white dot.

This is what my stamper decal turned out like.  So you can see the white dots and the black outline, then I filled it in with paints (not very well...I think I need a magnifying glass lol...but OK to visible eye!).  I added a little KBShimmer White Here White Now at the base of the snowman for some snow interest.

Applied stamper decal from MoYou Festive Collection-46 on thumb, then added images from Sugar Bubbles SBS08 (middle) using GirlyBits Sapphire stamping polish, MdU Christmas 1 (index), MJ XXXVIII (pinky) and MessyMansion MM30 (ring) using FunkyFingers Gesso.  I also double stamped on the middle finger with same image for the snow flakes as well as added random ones on ring and index.

Messy Mansion MM30.

Topped everything off with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Digit-al Dozen Does December; Day 5

For Day 5 of the Digit-al Dozes does December, went with Grinch themed nails!

Started with two coats of Misslyn Lemon Grass, shown here with no top coat.

Did a sponged gradient using Misslyn Lemon Grass, Essence We Love Winter Holidays! and CND Green Scene for the base.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I made an assortment of stamper decals for my Grinch themed nails.

Applied stamper decals; images are from Infinity 35 (tree on pinky), Sugar Bubbles SBS08 (Grinch on Thumb and image on middle), Marianne Nails n.62 (Cindy Lou Who on ring) and Stampaholic 03 (index).

Added a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Added a few random snow flakes from Sugar Bubbles SBS008.

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly to finish.

Digit-al Dozen Does December; Day 4

Sorry I'm late with my day 4 post but life has gotten in the way of doing the post in a timely manner!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Girly Bits All The Jingle Ladies Black Friday 2016 which arrived in early December!  This was the mystery polish included with Black Friday orders and I put it on a day or two after my order arrived.

Added a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top before stamping.

Stamped using an image from Ejiubas EJB-03 using Girly Bits White Wedding.  Also used the GB clear jelly stamper for placement.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Added a few dots of Essie Getting Groovy for some interest.

This is Ms Cindy; I really like this colour scheme!  The base is two coats of Essie Go With The Flowy. Stamped using same images using Girly Bits Fire Engine Red, then added dots using Essie Getting Groovy.

Digit-al Dozen Does December; Day 3

For Day 3's nails, decided to do some Christmas nails!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Contrary Polish Flames and Colors by llarowe Chasing A Unicorn.

Added Essie Getting Groovy to the thumb for some contrast.

Stamped over Contrary Flames stripes from Delaney Linges & Traits using FunkyFingers Guesso.  I had nicked my index finger and had to add another coat of Cbl Chasing A Unicorn.

Stamped holly using Chez Noel A001 using MdU 7.

Added red berries to the holly using Moyra SP02 stamping polish, then added stripes to the thumb using same image from Chez Linges & Traits using MdU 7.

Added a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

To tie in the gold thumb, I added a gold dots; not sure if this helped or hindered the mani!  But I liked it lol!

Here's what I was wearing on Ms. Cindy; Essie Getting Groovy was the base, used image from Chez Lignes & Traits using same stamping polishes; MdU 7 and Moyra Sp02.

Digit-al Dozen Does December; Day 2

For Day 2 of Digit-al Dozen does December, I did some ugly Christmas sweater nails!

I wanted texture for these nails so did two coats each of Sally Hansen Sugar Coats in Sugar Fix and Cherry Bomb; both have no top coat.  Am I the only one who still wears texture polishes?  I haven't seen a whole lot of them lately but I still wear them every now and then!  With my busy life, I'm always looking for ways to do some simple yet interesting stamping for those nights I don't have a lot of time to do my nails (which is most!) so if I can find an interesting base that I can add some simple stamping too, I'm good with it!

Stamped using MoYou Festive Collection-32 (index and thumb), MoYou Festive Collection-31 (pinky and middle) and MoYou Festive Collection-35 (ring) using FunkyFingers Gesso and Moyra SP02 as stamping polishes.
