Oh Deer!

I did this mani last year but didn't get around to sharing it; I had probably put it on the backburner of sharing because of the polish smear but I decided to share it now anyway cause I still think it is kinda cool and someone might get some inspiration out of it!  Thankfully, I've been using Apipila Smudge Free Top Coat for a few months now so don't have that problem now.  I don't understand it either; I've been stamping for a while now and rarely do I have polish smear as I know to float the top coat but for some reason, I had a slew of mani's that it happened and I just got fed up with it so bought a bottle to try when Polish Pickup had it and then stocked up on a few more bottles as I found it at stocklists, including here at Girly Bits.  Game changer! I've also bought a few other brands but haven't tested them out yet but I'm sure I will at some point.

Started with a base of Painted Polish Luna (thumb), China Glaze Bohamian Escape (index), Zoya Sia (middle), Zoya Tommy (pinky and ring).   

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Moyra 102-The Last Days of Summer

Did a sponged gradient on ring finger using Zoya Sia and Zoya Tommy for some interest.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped images using MoYou Noel 9 (thumb and middle), Moyra 102 (pinky), and MoYou Noel 12 (index) using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Added few snowflakes on thumb and pinky using What's Up B035 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate for filler and interest. 

Topped using KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  Ohh, the smear.  Highly irritating.

Added a few holo glitter dots using Different Dimension Kiss Me Under the Light of a Thousand Stars.

Topped again with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Whimsical!

I think this was a perfect image for this base and the two were just meant for one another!  

Started with a base of Different Dimension Long Romantic Walks to the Crystal Store (January 2021 Polish Pick Up), no top coat.

Snowflakes and Layering

Here's a couple of my current favourite things...layering and snowflakes!  

I don't plan these layering mani's.  I pick a base and then decide if I'm going to layer it or not, and if I do layer it, I pick a few different ones and test them on Ms. Cindy to decide what I'm going to go with.  So this time, I started with a base of Quo Beauty Stormy Night, two coats, no top coat.

Topped with one thin coat of Potion Polish Love Potion.

It didn't quite give me the look I was going for, so topped with coat of Holo Taco Unicorn Skin.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Painted Polish Blanc Slate using Beauty Big Bang XL-032, no top coat.  Great stamping plate so you can see the beauty of the base through the images.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I meant to put a matte top coat on this later on but removed it before I did it so it will have to wait until next time.

Layering Flakies!

I thought I should take a break from sharing snowflake mani's.  Here's a mani with layering flakies onto a creme, with some stamping on top...that I seem go in phases of doing (the layering of flakies over a creme); here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Bluphoria, two coats, no top coat.

Topped with DRK Growing Heart (October 2020 PPU).

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on T op.

Moyra 54-Matrix

Stamped using Moyra Stamping Plate 54 - Matrix, using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

In the shade.

A couple days later, added a matte topcoat so the flakies could shine!

Then added KBShimmer Clearly on Top again.

Yet More Snowflakes!

I really like this mani but unfortunately, this is a big blogger fail for me; I didn't make note of all the polishes I used...in fact, none of the polishes I used, and only made not of the plate frorm the dots and no other ones.  **Edit, I found my notes, so updated the post!)

I did a purple stamper smooshy on three fingers and then did accent nails...I think they may be a Painted Polish microglitter but not sure. (The smooshy is Color Club Island Vibes, Painted Polish Blanc Slate, Color Club Peace Out Purple, Color Club Pucci-licious, Color Club Sex Symbol).  Accents are Color Club Island Vibes topped with Painted Polish Party Fowl...I was right about the microglitter lol!)

Stamped images using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.  My notes say Creative Shop 112 but the only image that looks like it is from 112 is the snowflakes!  The trees are from Messy Mansion MM30. (The snowflakes are Creative Shop 42; rest are MM 30 as noted.)

Bright Snowflake Nails!

I thought I'd share this bright and fun mani to break up the continual blues I've been sharing.  Or Christmas mani's that I've been sharing.  But thanks to the reindeer, this is still classified as a Christmas mani to me.  Go grab your sunglasses and read on below!

Started with a base of Color Club Peace Out Purple with accent nails of Morgan Taylor Into the Limelight.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using EjB-03 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Added dots same colours on opposite nails.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.
