Brights!

Bright nails go so good with hot summer days and and we've had some nice sunny days with some hot temperatures so I thought it would be a good time to share these!

Started with a base of Color Club Yelling' Yellow on a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Drybruhed using Color Club Montego Bae, Color Club Koo-Koo Cachoo, Color Club We Liming and Color Club Warhol.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using MoYou Holy Shapes 08 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Tone on Tone

Hopefully you're having a good summer so far!  I've been super busy but trying to enjoy the nice days when possible! 

I was really liking this tone on tone look.  It is kinda simple but sometimes those are the most effective; This mani was done at a time I was using this stamping polish almost every day, I was into it so! 

Started with a base of two coats of Essie Garden Variety, no top coat.  I don't know about you but I've been loving the new Essie brush and found myself picking up a few Essie's every time they came on sale lately at Shoppers Drug Mart, even if they were colours I already have!  I know a few bloggers have been doing comparisons between new version and old but I haven't been on top of all them to know if this differs from the older version.  I only wish all the colours from the past were available with the new brush.  I'll keep on looking around for them.

Topped with a thin coat of Glam Polish Part of Your World, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Dana5 using MdU 91.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July to all my American nail pals!

Started with a base of Fancy Gloss Blue Starlight, Fancy Floss Red Starlight and OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls topped with Fancy Gloss Reflective Topper on the accent.  Please excuse the middle finger mess up; the reflective topper pulled the base coat; I'm not sure if I applied too much pressure or there was something on the brush, all I know is that this was the end result.  Although it doesn't look too great here, I didn't change it as I knew the stamping would cover most of it.

Stamped using AZ 4th of July using Konad Red special polish and Clear Jelly Stamper 013 stamping polish on the middle and BeautyBigBang 043 on the rest using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, no top coat.

After applying Apipila Smudge Free Top Coat, finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Happy Canada Day!

I'm a couple days late with getting these posted but these were the nails I wore for Canada Day!

Started with a  bbase of three coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, topped with Fancy Gloss Reflective Glitter and Sally Hansen Cherry Delight, topped with Colores de Carol XOXO, then top coated with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Clear Jelly Stamper CjS LC-08 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and Konad red special polish.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Keep Calm and Enjoy Summer

Summer has officially arrived and we finally have had a few hot days.  A little too hot but are we ever happy with the weather?  Too hot, too cold, too much rain, no rain...never happy, I tell ya!

Started with a base of Color Club Peace Out Purple, Color Club Mrs. Robinson and Morgan Taylor Anime-zing Color!, with accent nails using all three in a sponged gradient, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using images from UberChic Beach Please (ring, pinky and index), Lina 4 Seasons-Summer 03 thumb) and Moyra 6-Exotique (middle) using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, with shadow stamping using it and MdU 20 on the thumb.  Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Purple Swirls

This was one of those mani's that I didn't have planned out when I sat down to do them.  I added a bit of this, a bit of that and layered until it was a look that I was happy with.  Then stamped it with a nice image that you can still see lots of the base through.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of OPI Oh, You Sing, Dance, Act and Produce? No topcoat.

Topped with a coat Moonshine Mani Blueberry Thrill, no top coat.

Topped with a coat of Nine Zero Flakie All The Things Silver, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Lesly LS-121 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Rainbow Butterflies

I did these nails a while ago but was waiting to share for Pride Month.  

Started with a base of Polished for Days Be You, two coats, which was part of the 2021 Charity Pride Duo.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using an image from Pueen 39 using MdU 4, 8, 9, 11 and 13.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.
