Wedding Nails!

While you might think this is the start of me sharing fall nails, it's not the case by any means!  I did these nails a couple weeks ago to match my outfit for a wedding that I attended.  I haven't been to a wedding in years and years; everything about it was beautiful! Thankfully it wasn't too hot and not raining;  it was an outdoor wedding and this summer in Ontario, it has either been excessively hot and humid or torrential downpour rain so they lucked out weather wise that's for sure!  Anyway, here's the nails that I came up with to match my outfit!

Started with a base of Blush Lacquers Number One Bee Girl from May 2018 Hella Handmade Creations. I love this hue; it will be a great polish to use for fall mani's for sure!  (Please excuse the condition of my middle nail; I've been dealing with it for months now and I had to remove all the dried skin as it is all hard and thick but it doesn't stop me from doing my nails just not the prettiest when sharing, sorry.  I tried to hid it as best I could!)

After waiting about 10 minutes or so for the base to dry, did a sponged gradient using Blush Lacquer Number One Bee Girl, Fancy Gloss Red Velvet Mocha and Fancy Gloss Pumpkin Spice.  This is inspired by a mani that I had seen before using Fancy Gloss Red Velvet Mocha, Pumpkin Spice and Gingerbread Latte but I cannot find the creator at the moment to give credit.  Those 3 Fancy Gloss polishes were LE and I missed them; they have been in my ISO for some time and while I have two home with me now, I finally secured the final one in a destash and although it is with my US nail pal, it will be home soon!  So exciting when you quash lemmings!  But I wanted to do the gradient to match my outfit even though I didn't have FG Gingerbread Latte so substituted the Blush Lacquer and I think it turned out well!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  This really made the colours pop!

Stamped with Konad m78 using FunkyFingers Dark Knight.  Stamping again with a Konad image plate makes me realize how small their images were!  Even on my small nails and here when I have no length, thankfully I had a clear stamper for placement as the image barely fit so I was able to position it well!  But the great thing about the small image was hardly any cleanup!  But this is a great animal print stamp to use; lots of space that you can see the beauty of the base polish and an interesting image on your nails.

I even did Ms. Cindy!  I was kinda annoyed at myself because this was one run of the sponge and it did each nail and it gradiented well with oodles of colours; on my sharing hand, it was many runs of sponging to get it to a vivid colour!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Thanks for looking!
