Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!!  True fact; that's the song I sing over and over when I'm getting ready for the holiday season.  But I only know a couple lines lol.  Here's my Happy Holiday mani!

Started with a base of Colors by llarowe polishes; No, I'm Still Tacky, Last Harvest and Rain, two each, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using UberChic Holiday Jingle (all fingers except thumb), MdU Christmas 2 is on thumb, as well as UC Merry Christmas which is the mistletoe on the thumb, using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and Painted Polish Stamped in Greenery 2.0 (mistletoe) with the Cbl red holo as the berries).

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top (after using a non-smear polish that hadn't fully dried, which is why you see the cloudy marks here and there).

I thought this needed a little bit of umph so added a few random sized dots here and there using Painted Polish Stamped in Greenery 2.0.

Added a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Season's Greetings!

I was wanting something a little different and seen a polish that I got not too long ago sitting on my mani table from Red Eye Lacquer and thought it would be a great base for a little nontraditional looking mani I wanted to do so used it for these nails...this is what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Red Eyed Lacquer Don't Feed The Bear!, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Lina 4 Seasons-Winter 03 using EdK Lili, no top coat.  Also stamped words from HD-F on the thumb; the thumb mistletoe is from the same Lina plate.

Shadow stamped (not very well) using MdU 9 and then added a few dots for berries on the rest of the nails.

Added top coat to finish.  I wasn't happy with this at all; the berries bled out on the middle finger and my shadow stamping wasn't very...well, shadow-y.

So the next day, I removed the stamping on the middle and thumb, added another coat of the base polish and then restamped the images, including better shadow stamping on the thumb, then topped it with another coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  Shadow stamping isn't perfect, but better than the night before lol.

Tis The Season!

Yikes!  Christmas is almost here and I've only got one mani posted; I had better get the rest of the mani's posted so here's a Christmas mani and a few more will be shared soon too!

Started with a base of two coats of Picture Polish Recovery and Macaron with accent nail of Baking Spirits Bright, three coats.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using MoYou Festive 03 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and Say, It's Christmas from Lantern & Wren on thumb using Konad red.

Lantern & Wren Say, It's Christmas. 

Added a couple mistletoes from UC Merry Christmas using Konad green and Picture Polish Macaron for the berries, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Charlie Brown Christmas!

 

With Christmas a short 10 or so days away, I thought I should get around to sharing a few Christmas mani's.  I haven't had a lot of time really to do many but I do have a few to share.  This was a favourite one of the ones I've done so far; here's what I came up with!

Started with a gradient base of KBShimmer In Yacht Water, KBShimmer I'd Rather Be With Blue, and Sally Hansen Swim Upstream.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Applied stamper decals using images from ZZ Christmas Cartoon and ZZ Snoopy Holidays. If you're wondering why the imagine on the index and thumb are reversed compared to the plate, it was because I shrunk the image onto the UC shrink stamper, then stamped it onto another stamper to fill in the colours as the images were far too large for my nails.

Added a few snowflakes for filler and interest using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Another Snowflake Mani!

This isn't my typical style of stamping but I didn't mind how it turned out.  In fact, I think they turned out pretty cool! Of course, I'm late to the party; these mani's have been around for a while now and this is my first!  Hopefully I'll be able to do more!

Started with a base of three coats of Masura Coolness of Evening Lake, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top. 

Stamped using images from Finger Angel XL10 using MdU 78 and 126.

Added snowflake image from Born Pretty Snowflake-L001 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Added a few extra snowflakes from Creative Shop155, then topped using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

This was Ms. Cindy; I actually thought this hand turned out better than the other one!  I really like the lines; hopefully I'll remember to use that stamp in a future mani.

Let It Snow!

Tis the season...for snow, that is!  We've had a couple light dustings including a little last night but I've been doing snowflake mani's for weeks now so think I'm set to share them regularly until April 2022 at least!  The one being shared now was a favourite; mainly because the glitter looks like snowflakes..or maybe hail pellets!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of unlabeled Color Club microglitter, mixed with holo microglitter.  This is 3 coats; could have added a bit more as I can see some bare nail in the pix but it wasn't so obvious IRL.  Also, I did use a peel off basecoat which helped with removal.  Pictures don't do it justice!  A quick google search indicates this might be called Fairytale Ending, but not 100% sure.  This is the problem with those 7 pack of polishes bought at Winners lately; no labels on them.  The earlier ones sold had labels but they haven't for a while now.  Irritating but what can you do?  The deal of $9.99 for 7 polishes is too good to pass up!

Decided to do some shadow stamping; started with Hit the Bottle Do It In Denim! using MoYou Festive 06 with accent nail of Marianne Professionals n.31.  I love this shade of blue; very unique in my stamping polish collection.

Shadow stamped using Hit the Bottle Midnight Ink.  

Topped with a couple coats of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

This is about as much snow as I want to see; a bit on my nails!  But living in Ontario, I know this isn't the only snow I'll see, nor the little dusting we had overnight.  We just need to roll with it!

Sweater Weather!

It's time for some cooler temperature nails; I've been wearing sweaters at least part of the day for at least a month now so I thought it would only make sense to share a sweater mani as it is sweater weather!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a sponged gradient base of Painted Polish Beachy Keen, Venice Beach Babe and Pardon My French Roast 2.0.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief using Messy Mansion MM40 and UberChic Hello Fall & Pumpkin Spice.
