Happy Halloween!

 Happy Halloween! 

These are my favourite Halloween nails to do; these are from a couple years ago as unfortunately, I didn't do any like this this year.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of a few Halloween like polishes:  Nine Zero Eight Spotted Forester (thumb and ring), Painted Polish Gilded Poppy (middle) and Fingerpaints Mistful Thinking topped with Watcha Indie Polish Wicked West Witch (Little Box of Horrors March 2022).

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using UC Halloween 03 using MdU 13 and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief (thumb); Lina Spooklicious 03 using MdU 106, Painted Polish Stamped in Slate, Painted Polish Midnight Mischief then added bats from Marianne Nails n131 (middle); UC Halloween 01 using MdU 106 and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief (pinky); Lantern & Wren Boo Squad using MdU 106 and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief (shrunk images with CjS stamper) (ring and index).  Added bats on index from Lina Spooklicious 03 using MdU 106 and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

I took a pictures outside and discovered that I had a thermal polish on!

Booooo!

So many Halloween nails to share in a week as I was behind in sharing!  I did last year and wasn't able to share them but am now; here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Essie Push Play, no top coat.

Topped with Polished for Days Rainbow Fire, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped plaid with Creative Shop 182 Basic using MdU 91.

Added ghosts using Wistonia Haunted House, Marianne Nails n.61 and Infinity Nails 146 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and MdU 11.  The booooo on the thumb is from Maniology m032.

Thriller!

Darkness falls across the land; The midnight hour is close at hand; Creatures crawl in search of blood; To terrorize y’all’s neighborhood; And whosoever shall be found; Without the soul for getting down' Must stand and face the Hounds of Hell; And rot inside a corpse’s shell; The foulest stench is in the air; The funk of forty thousand years; And grizzly ghouls from every tomb; Are closing in to seal your doom; And though you fight to stay alive; Your body starts to shiver; For no mere mortal can resist; The evil of the thriller AH HA HA HA HA HA HA AH HA HA HA HA HA HA (FADE) A HA HA HA HA HA HA

Those famous words stated by Vincent Price as part of the song, Thriller, which are on my nails for #MusicManiMonday!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of OPI Destined to be a Legend, no top coat.

Topped with Scofflaw Stork Raven Mad, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Made a stamper decal on the thumb with Sugar Bubbles SB 076 and applied it.  I did a custom mix for the skintone using Painted Polish Stamped in Mocha and Stamped in Taupe.  The jacket is Moyra 906 Gel Polish and outline is Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.  Did lines on index and middle with image from Clear Jelly Stamper CjS H24 using Stamped in Stone, then did base using Painted Polish Stamped in Slate, then added zombies from same plate CjS H24 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.  The pinky is also from same CjS H24 but did shadow stamping using Painted Polish Stamped in Stone, then Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.  Ring Finger is MdU Thriller using Painted Polish Stamped in Stone, Painted Polish Midnight Mischief and Moyra 906 stamping gel polish.

Added bats on several nails from CjS H24 using Pained Polish Midnight Mischief.

SugarBubbles SB 076.  I shrunk the image for the thumb and it still barely fit!

I liked the shiny version but thought it may show details a bit more with matte, so added coat of Essie Matte About You.  Not sure what version I like best?

Let the Halloween nails begin!  I usually do some type of variation of Jack-O'-Lantern faces and this is my nails for this year!

Started with a base of two coats of Morgan Taylor Tiki Tiki Laranga, no top coat.  This was such a vibrant orange!

Topped with By Vanessa Molina Tequila Sunrise, no top coat.  This made the nails even brighter!

Stamped with images from Bunny Nails HD-D (ring), Chez Delaney Halloween 005 (pinky) and Marianne Nails n131 (middle) and Whats Up Nails B023 (index and thumb) using MdU 11.

I did Ms. Cindy slightly different.

I thought these were super cute and work them for almost a week!  I got lots of compliments on them too so I guess others thought they were cute too!  They were very bright and perfect for the season!

Autumn Days

We are in the middle of autumn and there is lots of colour still on the leaves; however, it is calling for really gusty winds tomorrow and I have a feeling a lot of the leaves will be gone by the end of the day.  Except on my nails as I still have lots of fall nails to share including this one; here's what I came up with.

Started with a base of Orly Midnight Oasis, two coats, no top coat.

Topped with Dark & Twisted Lacquer Witches' Bonfire (September 2023 Polish Pickup), no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped with image from What's Up Nails B033 on all nails except thumb, which is MoYou London Fall In Love 09, using MdU 9, 66, 106, 114 and 122.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Started with a base of three coats of Sassy Sauce Off the Hook (HHC Feb 2024), no top coat.

Did layered stamping on most nails using CjS-148 (pumpkins on thumb, leaves on thumb and leaf on ring), UberChic What A Wonder-Fall World (pinky), and CJS-PMC-43 on middle and index).  Shadow stamped using UC mini:  Hello Fall & Pumpkin Spice (ring).  Used MdU 13, 32, 59, 106, 107, 122 and 135, Painted Polish Stamped in Sweet Potato and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

So much to be thankful for but lots of what really matters; family and health.

Fall Leaves

We've had cooler temperatures at night and fall leaves are in full swing in my travelled area.  Not as vibrant as other years, but still really, really pretty!

Started with a couple of OG fall colours; Sally Hansen Yummy Yam and Sally Hansen Butterscotch.  These are holy grail fall colours to me; I use them almost without fail every fall.

ShopAnts XL-016

Stamped lines from Creative Shop 182 Basic using Painted Polish Stamped in Sweet Potato and isolated a leaf from ShopAnts XL-016 using a gradient of MdU 11, 13, 106 and 122.  The dent in the middle nail is from the stamper edge hitting semi wet nails.  I forever pick up images on the edge of the stamper versus the middle.
