Started with a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, and L'Oreal Rouge Amour, no top coat.

Topped index with Starrily Ruby and ring finger with Ninja Polish Candy Cane Floam, with the pinky and thumb topped with Painted Polish Seeing Stripes.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top. 

Stamped pinky with MdU Canada, ring, thumb and index with CjS H-113, middle with CNF Fig Tree Stamps 001 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and Konad red.  Flag on the middle is CjS-257. 

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Happy Canada Day!

Happy Canada Day to all my fellow Canadians!  This is what I was wearing on my nails today; I haven't stamped in a couple months because I've been growing out a nail injury so be kind!   

Started with a base of Orly Monroe Red and OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.  You can see on the index, it isn't as long as the others and the one corner is really short even though I tried to build it up with nail hardener here. 

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using images from MdU Canada (ring, index and pinky), CNF with Fig Tree Stamps 001 (middle), CjS-257 (thumb) and Maniology m054 (fireworks on middle) using Mdu 9 and Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Lest We Forget

It's Remembrance Day here in Canada; the day we honour those who fought for our freedoms and those who continue to serve so we can continue with the freedoms we enjoy today.  

This is the 13th year that I'll be sharing Remembrance Day nails; I try to do at least one mani every year as the day holds great meaning to me.  I think of what my grandfather must have gone through fighting in WWII and am thankful that he made it home.  I am more thankful that him and others risked their lives or unfortunately lost their life so we can have the freedoms we experience today.  Our world could be a whole lot different if they hadn't fought for our freedoms so we thank them and remember them as well as those who continue to serve.  

Clear Jelly Stamper CjS H-72.  I thought I was going to use this plate but went in another direction.

Started with a base of two coats of Cirque Colors Hatch, no top coat, on a base of Polished for Days white soft focus.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Messy Mansion MM078XL using Konad red stamping polish and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, with accent nail of Canadian Nail Fanatic 001 with Fig Tree Stamps.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Happy (Belated) Canada Day!!

These were the nails that I was wearing for Canada Day last week but other than IG, didn't have any time to share anywhere else.  But thought I'd share them now anyway!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Picture Polish O'Hara with an accent nail of Painted Polish Blanc Slate.  Then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using images from Lina Tanya_Wish Collab with accent nail of my own CNF 001 with Fig Tree Stamps plate using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and MdU 9.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

It was an interesting Canada Day this year; not being able to get together with friends and family for festivities and then a fireworks display at night.  I still managed to have traditional strawberries and vanilla ice cream though, and even seen some fireworks while I was out driving that night, so it was close.  Just not the friends and family part.  Hopefully next year!

Happy Canada Day!!

Happy Canada Day to all my fellow Canadians!  I had a really hectic week and just did these yesterday but they'll be on my nails all weekend!

Started with a base of two coats each of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, OPI My Wish List Is You with an accent of Different Dimension Kiss Me Under The Light of a Thousand Stars.

Added a light coat of Funky Fingers Olaf on thumb for some interest and topped all with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

 Stamped all fingers using Clear Jelly Stamper CjS LC-08 using Konad red special polish and MdU 1.  Accent is CNF 001 with Fig Tree Stamps.

 Topped all with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.  It was a little hot and humid yesterday so even though I waited a bit to top coat, I still had a little smear.  I had to use the Konad and MdU stamping polishes as everything else dried too quickly!  Normally I would have done a bit of touch up with the stamps that didn't stamp that well but I did these in cottage country and only had a minimum amount of supplies with me.  But still was happy how they turned out!

Whatever you are doing this long weekend (and hopefully it is a long weekend for you!), please be safe regardless if you are on the water, driving, make sure you wear a hat and sunscreen and overall, enjoy your day and think of  what a great country we live in!

Digit-al Dozen Does Look Up; Day 2

I'm sorry for running behind and am only getting day 2 posted (and it's pretty late in the day at that!)  Life is just too busy (and I'm not organized enough to have the posts done earlier lol).  Anyway, here are Canada Geese getting ready to fly south for the winter which I've seen a lot of in the last few weeks when I look up!  And if you've been around a flock of Canada Geese, you know what the accent finger is lol!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a China Glaze Bahamian Escape with accent of Great Lakes Lacquer Coffee is Necessary, two coats.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Did random sponge stamping on all fingers except accent using China Glaze Sea Spray.  On the accent, hand painted using Zoya Shawn and Jace.

Stamped on all fingers except accent using image from Konad m79 using Funky Fingers Gesso.

Stamped (and in most cases double stamped) images from Infinity 52 using FunkyFingers Dark Knight on index, middle and pinky and with Canadian Nail Fanatic 001 with Fig Tree Stamps on thumb.

Stamped image from Lina Make Your Mark 01 on ring using FunkyFingers Gesso.  (That's suppose to be the ground with grass on the accent.)

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

If you, or someone in your household (which is the case in my house), follows hockey, you probably know that tonight is the gold medal round for the World Jr. Hockey Championship with Canada and US playing for the gold and silver medals!  Here's my mani to support Team Canada!

Started with a base of two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top (no pix).  Added images from Canadian Nail Fanatic with FigTree Stamps 001 and 002 using Konad red stamping polish and FunkyFingers Dark Knight.

Added a few more images from same plates for filler and interest.

I'm glad it will be over tonight; I've been listening to the hubs shout at the TV every night for the last 10 nights or so....this is usually reserved just for Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday nights!

Started with a base of two coats each of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and Duri Taming of the Shrew then topped with a coat of Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC before stamping.

Stamped using images from my custom plate; Canadian Nail Fanatic 001 and 002 with Fig Tree Stamps using red and white Konad stamping polishes; touched up as needed.

Topped with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC to finish.

I'm a little late in sharing my Canada Day nails on the blog, but they were up on IG and FB on Canada Day!


Started with a base of two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls then topped with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC.



I had asked Girly Bits to make a red and white microglitter last year to use for Canada Day nails but i I didn't have time last year to use it, so for sure, wanted to use it for Canada Day nails this year.  Sponged on Girly Bits Red, White & Glitter All Over on all nails but middle; used Canadian Nail Fanatic 001 with Fig Tree Stamps stamped with red Konad stamping polish for the middle.



I had another custom plate made which included some more Canada designs!  This is my custom plate Canadian Nail Fanatic 002 with Fig Tree Stamps!









Stamped using CNF 001 with Fig Tree Stamps images using red Konad special polish.



Topped with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC to finish.



I did my right hand slightly different using CNF 001 and CNF 002 with Fig Tree Stamps; please excuse the cuticle mess!  I was really rushed to do these nails!
