Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!  All the best to you and yours in 2019!

These are the nails I'll be wearing to ring in the new year!  Pretty fancy nails to be wearing while watching tv in my pajamas but that's OK!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of JReine Cosmetics Goldschlager.  What a stunner! 

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

 
Stamped using CbL Panther Stamping Polish using image from Sugar Bubbles SBS 014.  I really like this look just by itself lol!

I decided to do some shadow stamping; did numbers using Nicole by OPI Positive Energy using images from Maniology M042.  Used image HD-B on thumb.

Love!  I know there's a lot happening here and it is pretty blingy especially with holo base then holo stamping polish then silver on top of the gold!  I'm glad I did the shadow stamping to make the numbers and words pop a little better.

Welcome 2018!

Happy New Year!  These are the nails that I rang in 2018 with!

Started with a base of two coats of Pahlish Oogie Boogie, no top coat.

Did a sponged gradient using Pahlish Oogie Boogie and ILNP Varsity Jacket, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped confetti using assortment of MdU's that I didn't mark down (sorry) using MoYou Festive Collection-39.

Stamped using Sugar Bubbles SBS04 using MdU 1.

 Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

New Year's Mani!

Here's a mani I had in archives from 2016!  Thankfully I didn't put a year on it so good to share!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Model City Wrapped in Wool, no top coat.

Added a coat of Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC.

Stamped using Handy 57 (numbers on middle), MoYou Festive Collection-39 (words on middle), Nailsways Snowwhite-New Year (pinky), Chez Delaney Fete 004 (thumb), Fauxnad D (ring) and ZZ Dandelion (index).  Used FunkyFingers Dark Knight.

Added fireworks using image from Chez Delaney Fete 002 using CND Gold Chrome and Girly Bits Fire Engine Red stamping polish.

Added a coat of Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC to finish.

Happy New Year!!!!  It's New Year's Eve; these are the nails that I'm wearing to ring in the New Year!

Started with a base of two coats of Orly Cashmere Cardigan with one coat of FunkyFingers Dark Knight to accent.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Did a sponged gradient over Orly Cashmere Cardigan using Essence Break Through.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

 I made a few stamper decals using polish and acrylic paints using images from Chez-Delaney Fete 002 (glasses and words) and Sugar Bubbles SBS09 (clock).

Applied stamper decals to thumb and middle; couldn't use the champagne glasses as they were too big for any of my nails!  Stamped index and pinky with image from Chez-Delaney Fete 002 using Mundo de Unas 16 and 60 and same plate on ring using FunkyFingers Dark Knight.

Added some fireworks bursts on ring and thumb using same Chez Fete 002 image using CND Gold and Silver chrome polishes.

 Added a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!  I know I'm a few days late; but these were the nails that I was wearing to ring in 2016!

Started with a base of two coats of piCture pOlish Winter, no top coat.

Added a coat of Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC before stamping.

Stamped using MoYou Festive Collection-39 using MdU 64.

Added images from Pet'la Koy using Funky Fingers Gesso on all fingers except middle, which is Messy Mansion MM02.

Added a few more fireworks using same image plate using MdU 11 and Girly Bits Red Fire Engine and Sapphire.

Finished with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC to finish.

I did my other hand a little different; used same MoYou Festive 39 plate with gold and silver chrome stamping polishes.  This was OK but not what I was looking for so did the left hand different, as shown above.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas Does New Year's!

Last Friday (aka Christmas Day) was 40 Great Nail Art Ideas with the theme of New Year's. Unfortunately, I was still posting Christmas nails so didn't have anything to share that day but was able to do one last night. Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Nicole by OPI Bee In the Moment.

Did a sponged gradient using Nicole Bee In the Moment, piCture pOlish Citrus and OPI Red.

Top coated with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC before stamping.

Stamped using Chez Fete 002 (ring and pinky) and Sugar Bubbles SBS 09 (middle, index and thumb) with Funky Fingers Dark Knight.  Did a little brush touch up on the middle.
