I'd thought I'd share these fall looking nails before winter hits!

Blue Flakies!

I think this image is really cool; it has mirrored images except one is a negative space of the opposing image.  Gives it some interest!  The challenge was to get the void space in the middle of the nail so the images are equal on both ends of the nails.  Some nails, I did OK; some not so good but that's OK.  It still looks OK.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Ever After Polish Carnival 2017 with a few extra strokes at the tips, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Moyra 114 The Brightest Light using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Purple Valentine Hearts!

Here's another Valentine's Day mani!  This didn't turn out quite as I had envisioned in my head (well, do they ever? lol).  Not that I don't mind it but it's not the best mani I've ever done by any means.  I think that if all the stamping had gradiented (is that a word?) like the middle, I would have liked it better, but alas, they never.  Not the worst mani I've ever did either but again, just had higher expectations of how I thought it was going to turn out. Anyway, here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Ever After Polish Burning Twilight, no top coat.  Such a gorgeous polish and just loving the flakies!  I cannot believe I haven't worn it until now!

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Did a stamped gradient using Painted Polish Autumn Twilight 2.0, MdU 64 and MdU 1 using an image from Kelly Negri KN12 and unnamed accent.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Have a great weekend and thanks for looking!

Ever After Polish Diamonds Are Forever

I got this stunner at Indie Expo Canada as part of the VIP bag and while I wore it just a couple days after the event, I haven't gotten around to sharing it!  This is Ever After Polish Diamonds Are Forever, an IEC LE.

Started with a base of three coats of Ever After Polish Diamonds Are Forever, no top coat.  I did a quick check of the Ever After site and this polish is still available here.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I didn't want to cover the gorgeous glitter base so picked this image from DRK-A using MdU 1.

For those of you who didn't know, a date for Indie Expo Canada 2018 has been sent; mark your calendars for June 9 and 10, 2018!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas Does Love!

It's Friday and that means 40 Great Nail Art Ideas Challenge (and somehow I forgot about last weeks challenge so sorry about that; not that anyone missed it, I'm sure!)  This weeks theme is love!  I know this doesn't seem very much about love and I do have a more lovey dovey mani planned but was going to save it for Valentine's Day, but hearts are an expression of love so I'm going with it!  And I love this mani, so there, it's theme appropriate anyway lol!

I am so into flakies right now so love everything about this one I recently got in a blog sale; Ever After Falling.  Unfortunately, I didn't realize how sheer it was until after I already applied to the nail so this is three coats of Ever After Falling, no top coat.

Added a coat of Girly Bits Clearly on Top QD TC before stamping.

I did something a little different on my Cindy hand because I'm just not a fan of every having to apply three coats of anything.  This is one coat of piCture pOlish Beige with one coat of Ever After Falling then top coated..  I actually prefer this look and I'm sure it will show up on my nails at some time!

Stamped using an image from Bundle Monster BM-317 using Mdu 43.  I picked this image for the sole reason that there is lots of area to let the base shine through! Love, Love, Love!

Topped with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC to finish.  This isn't the most flattering pix I have but its good to see the shimmer.

The finished look on my right hand.  So loving this slighter lighter look!

Here's the other ladies mani's; I hope you LOVE them!

Another Valentine's Day Mani featuring EDM14

Here's another Valentine's Day mani that is perfect for any time of the year!

Started with a base of two coats of Ever After Polish Devil in a Sunday Dress with accent of Colors by llarowe Chasing a Unicorn (two coats of base and one coat of the holo tc).  Shown with no top coat. (Please note that Ever After Polish Devil in a Sunday Dress is a Hella Holo Custom polish made exclusively for the HHC FB group so you won't find it for sale on the estore, sorry.)

Added a coat of Sally Hansen Diamond Flash TC.

Stamped with an image from Emily de Molly EMD14** using FunkyFingers Gesso.  What I really like about this image is even though I'm sharing here as a Valentine's related mani, this image isn't all heart overkill or sickening sweet so good for use anytime of the year.  (As I type this, I envision this image stamped over a deep, dark navy, even a jelly glitter, which I think would be stunning!)  The image also has the added bonus of being an interesting image while leaving enough void to see the beauty of the base shine through.  So many possibilities!

Emily de Molly EDM14

While I had originally wanted to do exactly the same image on the accent stamped with Ever After Devil in a Sunday Dress as I thought it would be dark enough to stamp with, unfortunately when I test stamped it (aka on my right hand), the image was faint and light purple looking.  It wasn't the look I was going for.  Then I thought of using a heart stencil and filling in with the Ever After would be cool but alas, had no heart stencils. After some pondering what to do, I remembered seeing needle drag manis where the dots dragged looked like hearts, so I decided to go with this.  At least the Ever After would be used on the accent to match anyway.  Now, I've never done this needle drag method before, so after I googled it, discovered I had to have a wet base coat so had to add another coat of colors by llarowe Chasing a Unicorn (top coat bottle only).  While it was still wet, did three dots of Ever After Devil in a Sunday Dress.  Then did the needle drag through the middle of the dots.  It really didn't turn out right but hopefully you can make out the heart shape enough anyway.

Added another coat of Sally Hansen Diamond Flash TC to finish.
