Wasn't It A (St. Patrick's Day) Party!

With St. Patrick's Day being tomorrow, this past weekend was a popular day for St. Patrick's Day parties (or so I'm told), so sharing these fun nails that would have been perfect for a party, had I gone to one.  And the perfect St. Patrick's Day party song is Wasn't It A Party by The Irish Rovers, for #MusicManiMonday.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a skittle base of Glam Polish Happy Grass (PPU March 2025) on pinky and index, Glam Polish There Ain't Nothing Gonna Stop Me Now on thumb, and DND DC 2521 Quantum Leap on the rest.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  Excuse the smear on the middle; it was three coats of polish and wasn't quite dry.

Stamped using images from M561 on index and pinky using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and What's Up Pod Partners.  Thumb is also Maniology M561, shadow stamped using MdU 11 and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.  Ring finger is MdU Irish 1 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, MdU 13 and China Glaze GR8 on the hat band on the stamper decal.  Middle finger is layered stamping using CjS H-104 using MdU 60,68, 39, 11, 13 and Moyra SP02 in that order for the rainbow.  The gold coins are stamped with Hit the Bottle To Have and to Gold with image from CjS H-104.  The orange on the ring and finger was a grid type of stamping image that didn't stamp well so I had to go in another direction.

Isolated the coins from the image on CjS H-104 and stamped them using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.  Hand painted the rainbow on the thumb (not very well!).

Added a few accents for interest and filler with images from Maniology M561 on middle, thumb and ring using Painted Polish Woodland Whimsy and Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

St Patrick’s Nails!

Here's one of the St. Patrick's Day mani's I did this year.  I think they turned out pretty cool and hope they inspire anyone with very short nails.

Used Painted Polish Celtic Crelly (ring), Chance 080 (thumb), DND 2521 (ring, middle and pinky) and topped Shleee Polish Fauna on top of the index and ring fingers.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped with an image from Lantern & Wren Stamp All Clover on pinky and ring using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, Lantern & Wren A Wee Bit Irish on the middle using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and Woodland Whimsey, BeautyBigBang XL-067 on thumb using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and lately, CjS H-50 on middle using MdU 80, What's Up Nails The Other Side and Painted Polish Woodland Whimsey.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

These nails were done less than a week ago; as you can see they are just growing out, which is why I haven't done more than a couple St. Patrick's Day nails.  Buttttt, a day or so ago, I noticed what looked like a little free edge so clipped one nail down even more so no more mani's for a few days.

Purple Snowflakes

Here I am, still sharing snow flake manis!  This is from last year and with the light snow we've had the past couple days or so makes me feel the need to share another snowflake mani again!

Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of DND 572, no top coat.

Topped with a fiarly thick coat of Polished for Days Pixie Dust, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Lina 4 Seasons-Winter 02 using MdU 101, 111 and FunkyFingers Gesso.  I really like how the muted stamped image turned out.

Topped with a base of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Neutral Nails

I love a good neutral every now and then, even though brights are more my style! If I'm being honest, I've been wanting to neutrals a bit more often since the release of KBShimmers's Office Space Collection....which makes no sense as I have no office polish restrictions!  But I guess the collection brought neutrals to the forefront a little, at least in my mind!  This mani is inspired by nails my daughter was wearing not too long ago; she goes to the salon and usually gets a neutral nail with a sparkle accent as she does have a neutral polish policy at her work.  These nails mimicked the ones she came home with that night although the stamping doesn't make them all that neutral looking!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of DND 487 Fairy Dream with accent of KBShimmer A Hint of Manila. I picked up the DND set that is a polish with matching gel polish; this is the nail polish.  (I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the matching gel polish as I don't do gel polish....but that's another story!)

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Stamped using an image from XY-B01 (acrylic plate) using FunkyFingers Dark Knight.

I painted metal studs metal to match the stamping, then added to accent.  Thanks so much to Pretty Pittie who had commented on a prior post for the tip to put the metal studs on the lint roller sheet to secure and then paint them.  I did this here and it worked perfectly!  Look for more matchy studs to polish mani's in the future now that I can easily paint them!

Applied final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

I have another request!  I'm in love with the mix of glitter/holo in this KBShimmer polish; can anyone recommend something similar but in a charcoal/dark grey finish?  Thanks so much!
