Neon Floral Nails!

These are one of my way back daisy mani's; this is from February 2020 and to be honest, I'm not sure why I haven't shared it yet.  The colours look like Halloween but I'm sharing them now as I could easily wear these in the heat of the summer!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, topped with Lilypad Lacquer Itty Bitty 4, no top coat.  I remember when these glitters came out; I bought them all.  Promptly wore this one and then none of them have been worn since.  And this was five years ago! I like them, just don't like glitter removal.

Stamped lines with image from Lina Born to Sail 01 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, then added flowers from Lina 4 Seasons-Spring 02 using MdU 80.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Dotted floral centers using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Decided I needed a few more flowers, so added them using same plate and colours on the lines, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Trick or Treat !

I like to make non traditional colours for holiday themed nails and this is one Halloween themed nail that isn't in a traditional Halloween colour.  But it's still cute!

Started with a base of two coats of China Glaze Blue Raspberry Ice, no top coat.  This is one of my favourite polishes to use and one of the few bottles of polish that I own that has a fill line.  Good thing I have a back up bottle already!  Accent nail is Lilypad Lacquer You Will Respect My Authoritahh! PPU July 2024.

Topped a couple more nails with Emily de Molly Guiding Light.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Not A Daisy!

I've had a thing for daisies for a couple summers now and thought this images has the look of a daisy, but isn't a daisy, to change it up a little.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of three coats of Pretty Serious Pookie, no top coat.

Topped with a light coat of Fancy Gloss Peacock Feathers.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from MoYou Pro XL 21 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Added dots using Lilypad Lacquer Frogs Alive.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I did a test nail doing some shadow stamping, which I really liked but shadow stamping can be too difficult sometimes so just did the single stamp with a dot!

Purple Circles!

I've never been one to be overly creative with post titles and you can't get much more to the point with calling this mani Purple Circles!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of three coats of Lilypad Lacquer You Got My Attention, no top coat.  How appropriately names; your nails will get a lot of attention with this polish on them!  Love it!  I rediscovered this polish while shopping my stash.  And I wonder when I see it, why have I never worn it before now???

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Lina Mark Your Mark 01 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, then added studs on accent.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  May you have a skip in your step, find a pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow and enjoy green beer today!  And watch out for those mischievous leprechauns!

I had pulled a lot of green polishes from my stash and at some point, I knew I couldn't wear them all but wanted to wear some of them at least.  So I picked a few favourites that I hadn't had a chance to wear in some time (or ever, as in the case of at least one!) and decided on a green skittle base.  The polishes used, starting at thumb and going clockwise, are Darling Diva Do or Do Not, There is No Try, Darling Diva On the White Cliffs of Dover Sat a Poet, Painted Polish Shamrock Your World, Scofflaw Drop Dead Fred and Lilypad Lacquer Frogs Alive.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped images from UberChic mini:  St. Patrick's Day 2 (pinky and index), Messy Mansion MM04 (ring) and MoYou Festive 21 (middle and thumb) using MdU 37 and Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Shadow stamped the ring finger using same MM04 with MdU 37, then added a whollllleeee lot of mini shamrocks on the middle and a few on the thumb using MoYou Festive 21.  Every. single. one. of those mini shamrocks on the middle finger were individually stamped.  Thank you, clear jelly stamper!

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Enjoy your day and thanks for looking!

More Fall Nails!

I know I shared a few fall mani's already; I did these nails over a week ago and had planned on sharing them as part of Digit-al Dozen autumn week but decided to share ones I liked better instead.

Started with a base of one coat of Lilypad Lacquer The Pumpkin King.

Did a gradient using Lilypad Lacquer Skulloween.

There was a whole lot of sparkle and sheen happening with this mani; while I had originally wanted to add multicoloured leaves, I thought the base had enough action without a magnitude of stamping colours fighting for attention.  So went very simple using FUN red stamping polish using and image from MJ X.

Top coated to finish using GirlyBits What a Rush QD TC.

While the mani was OK, there was just a little too much sheen or somethingsomething that wasn't sitting right with me.  So topped with OPI matte, which toned it down a bit more to my liking.

(Remember my post here where I had streaks through the stamped images from the top coat application; it did it this mani too being really noticeable on the index and pinky.  I've since figured out the cause which was an easy fix so hopefully there won't be any more scratchy images lol).

This isn't my most favourite mani ever but not my worst by any means.  Fall appropriate in colours anyway so might be inspiration for someone plus I always share the good with the bad!

Hope you're having a great weekend; thanks for looking!
