FIFA 2026

The 2026 World Cup of soccer started last week, with the opening ceremonies taking place in Los Angeles and Toronto, which is also a host city for matches.  So I decided to do FIFA 2026 nails for the occasion!

Started with base polishes of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls with accent nails of Orly Double Diamond on Cupcake White Pop. Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  

Stamped using images from MoYou London What The Plate Collection-04 (pinky, middle and player on thumb and shrunken on index) using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.  Stamped goal with image from MdU AZ Sports 3 Soccer 1 and words on ring using Maniology m306, again with Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Added image from CjS-91 above words on the ring, after double stamping it to reverse the image.

Added starts and diamond bursts from MoYou London What the Plate-04 using MdU 4, 11, 69 (mixed with white), and 80, along with Konad red.  I was aiming for these accent colours being the FIFA colours.

As today is #MusicManiMonday, this mani is inspired by the FIFA 2026 anthem song Dai Dai by Shakira and Burna Boy.

We Wish You A Merry Christmas!

Christmas is just around the corner; where did the time go?  And before we know it, 2026 will be here.  Like, really, where did the time go?  There is no time like the present to wish you a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2026!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using images from CjS C-25 using Konad Red and CjS 218 on all fingers, except the thumb, which is Dixie Plates Christmas 2017 using MdU 11, Konad Red and CjS 218.

Let’s Get Lit!

I've been wanting to do one of these Christmas light man's and was pleasantly surprised how many plates have these designs. However, just before I sat down to do my nails this night, I filed them all down so not many of the images fit my shorties, but thankfully, there's stampers on the market that resize images by making them larger or smaller, which I used for this mani.  I actually use them quite a bit as my nails are on the smaller side.  I'm thankful for the trick that you put a ruler on your stamper with guides and then you can reduce even a layered mani by using the guides, which is what I did her.  So smart, whomever it was that shared that hack!  I can't give credit but I know I had seen it in a group on FB.  Kudos!  Anyway, here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Different Dimension Wonderful Christmas Time, two coats on a base of Cupcake White Blur, no top coat.  Fun fact:  this is a glow in the dark polish which I didn't know when I did my nails and it freaked me out when I went to bed as I kept on seeing these white flashes until I figured it out!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Layered stamped using an image from UberChic Holiday Jingle using resizing stamper with Painted Polish Stamped in Salt Water, MdU 11, CjS 062 and What's Up The Othere Side, with Painted Polish Midnight Mischief base.  The image on the thumb is from Lantern & Wren All The Jingle Ladies and the same stamping polishes used on the other fingers.  In hindsight, I wish I had of used the resizing stamper to make the words a little larger, but they are just super small IRL; you can clearly see the words on micro.  But if I was to repeat this mani, I would for sure increase the size of the image on the thumb.  I also seen this wording on another plate, so who knows; might use it when I repeat this!  And I know for sure I will repeat this; I loved it so and wore it for a few days which is unusual for me.  And got so many compliments on it....everyone thought it was such fun!  Here's another tip.  I'm not the best at shadow stamping although I love the look of it.  So as I was working on the stamper decal for the bulbs, I took a brush and outlined some of the words on the thumb to mimic shadow stamping but without having to line up the letters.  I thought I was brilliant lol!

This was so fun; I can't wait to recreate this next year!  Oh, and here is the glow in the dark pix...not the best pix but hopefully you can see it glowing!

Stamped using Clear Jelly Stamper CjS-257 for all images except the word Happy and the heart, which is from CjS H-113, using MdU 11 and Konad Red and Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top. 

Did Ms. Cindy slightly different but still cool using same plates and polishes.

Happy 75th Birthday, Dad!

Today is my dad's 75th birthday, and it happens to have been the birthday of his favourite singer, Elvis, so I thought I'd do this Elvis themed mani in his honour!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.  I had Nvr Enuff Afterglow sitting on my desk from a prior mani and decided to top the thumb nail with it for a little added glam and interest, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top. 

MdU Elvis.  

Stamped using MdU Elvis (main thumb image, shrunken, pinky, ring and middle), 

and Delaney Musique 001 (index and notes on thumb), using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

After applying a thin coat of Apipilia no smear topcoat, topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Happy Holidays!

So happy how these turned out; another mani I could wear all holiday season....if I didn't have so many other plates and polishes that I want to wear!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Pampered Polishes Rawr over a coat of Polished for Days white soft focus, no top coat.  A great holiday mani base IMO!

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Clear Jelly Stamper CjS C-45 with an accent nail of Lantern & Wren Say It's Christmas! using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, Moyra SP 02 and SP 14, no top coat.  The accent nails is shadow stamped using the Moyra polishes.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.
