Crazy Green!

While this is a favourite Halloween polish, I decided to wear break it open and do these crazy green nails!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a ase of two coats of Potion Polish Warts n All, no topcoat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

PY-J036

Stamped using an image from PY-J036 with MdU 65.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I did my other hand with a base of Zoya Tilda topped with Indigo Bananas EMS Recombination topped with Penelope Luz Sorcery, then stamped with same image from PY-J036 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

The next day, did a coat of Essie Matte About You.  Excuse the shrinkage but at least you see how cool it is matte!

Winter Snow Nails!

I did these nails before Christmas but wasn't in a terrible rush to share them as I thought they could be used over the winter as they don't look toooo Christmas-y.  I'm sharing today given the snow we received last night!  This is what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Zoya Shawn.

Added a coat of Indigo Bananas Low-Key on a couple of the nails.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped stripes using UberChic Holiday Jingle with the rest of the fingers being Sugar Bubbles SBS 08 (the middle finger is stamped multiple times with the snowflakes from the image on the ring finger plus I added a couple more of the bigger snowflakes on the ring finger).  Used MdU 1.  Added China Glaze Party Hearty at the tip of the ring finger for colour and interest.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

The snow we got last night isn't expected to last thanks to the mild temperatures that are forecasted tomorrow and over the weekend.  But I can still see snowflakes on my nails as it seems like I've been doing lots of snowflake manis lately.

Digit-al Dozen Does Tropical; Day 5

It's the last day of the tropical challenge and no hibiscus nails!  I thought that starfish would be tropical enough for the theme and I think these colours are tropical looking too so this is what I'm using!  It's too bad that I couldn't use the lizard, palm tree, tropical fish and birds plates that I thought I was going to use but there are always other days and don't really need the challenge to do them!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Orly Push the Limit with accent of two coats of Painted Polish Card Tricks & Carousels, no top coat.

Topped with a thin coat of Indigo Bananas Fiery The Angels Fell.  I thought both went well with the glitter in the Painted Polish but the Indigo Bananas is a little thicker than I wanted as I had to touch up to cover bare spots and then there was a bald spot in another spot, so had to add a bit more and so on and so on and before you know it, it was heavier than I wanted lol.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Stamped using Wistonia Absolutely Nautical (thumb), B. Loves Plates B. 11 Summer (index), Creative Shop 85 (middle), Nailways Vive La Vie-Beach Baby (ring) and Sugar Bubbles SB051 (pinky) using FunkyFingers Gesso.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Here's  the other ladies Day 5 mani's!

Hopefully you have enjoyed all the tropical nails that the Digit-al Dozen have shared this week.  Thanks for looking!

Digit-al Dozen Does Floral; Day 1

Welcome back to Digit-al Dozen challenge week!  This weeks theme is floral.  I have a feeling that there is going to be a lot of amazing floral mani's this week so please make sure to check out all the ladies posts via the Inlinkz below.

Here's what I came up with for Day 1; a floral mani that I did about six months ago after I had seen on another blog that OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest stamps so well.

Started with a base of two coats of Indigo Bananas Electric Unicorns, no topcoat. Such a stunning polish!

Stamped using OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest using an image from Cheeky Jumbo 10 Happy Nails.

Top coated to finish.  The topcoat really brings out the beauty in the stamping from OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest....love it!

Here's the link to Love. Varnish, Chocolate that I first seen OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest used for stamping....gorgeous!  I use stamping polishes so often I forget sometimes that there are regular polishes that stamp so well!

Here's the other ladies Day 1 floral mani's!
